prophecies are not to be ignored but not every prophecy comes from God.

I have a friend who just chatted me seeking advice on issues with his wife's family. At their church a prophetess told his wife to tell him to count his mother's age 1yr =1k, then bring the money for redemption against premature death because she said she saw a revelation. Can redemption be done by such method cause I'm as amazed when he told me. Please What's your idea on this nairalanders

I feel sorry for most of y'all. Better get "woke". Africans are freaking gullible. Even the whites that introduced religion to us are now scared 'cause we have taken it to another dimension.

Does your friend believe what he was told by his wife? If he does, then what can you do? Most of these prophets have nothing to do with the God of the bible in the sense that He does not even give oracles(prophesies that pertain to individuals). But there are many out there who believe in such thing as "as a man believes, so is he.... " grin
