Igbosmoker:
I'm not those monikers please.

My former moniker that was deactivated include Edodefender,beninempire.. I don't claim to be from other tribe except Benin.

That melesnazawi person isn't from Edo either, have you seen any Edo person saying they are Yoruba?.

I want had a disagreement with him last year and he started insulting Edo people calling them names and posting bad pictures of Edo state.
Ok, I thought you were. I also see how he does everything to tarnish the image of the Bini’s as well as try to force Yoruba heritage on them.
Well I thought he was Bini too. If he's not Bini what then is he? Because he's not Igbo and can never be and he's not Yoruba too. His name Osagyefo sounds Ghanian? Oh, Osagyefo is the title of late Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana. What a coincidence.

are you anioma or main igboland in South East?
Nah! I'm not an Anioma neither am I from the SE. But I’m Igbo.

Gregyboy & Davidnazee

Igbo own half of Edo. Ontop of that Igbo invaded & conquered Edo in 1967-1970

Ijaw also own an extension

If Nigeria dissolves & Igboid towns to with Igbo & Ijaw towns go with Ijaw. I wonder what would be left of Bini grin

TAO11

If Nigeria dissolves today (or at anytime in the future for that matter), it is extremely unlikely that any such dissolution will be along the lines of our present "state" structure -- It is absurd to think that Nigeria will break up into 36 different countries.

What is more thinkable and reasonable is that any such dissolution will be along our present "geopolitical-zone" structure -- the smallest break-up components reasonably conceivable.

But as it stands, the Edos/Binis (who are the majority in Edo state) have succeeded in raising enemies for themselves from the S-S (the Ijaws come to mind), and from the S-E (the Igbos).

The situation is, however, quite different for them in relation to the S-W. Those who actually matter in Edo state [i.e. the leaders of opinion throughout the state] have no qualms whatsoever with the S-W (to whom their present political structure already leans more towards), or with the ancestral house of Oodua (with which their apex monarchy claims connection).

If the process for disintegration is completed today, the Yorubas -- being the accommodating folks that they are -- will gladly welcome their kith and kins from all around with wide open arms into their new country.

In the new country, the expected bitterness and frustraton from inconsequential and insignificant Bini Nairaland warriors will only remain hidden within them for some time until they decide, one after the other, to abandon delusions and begin to live in the real-world.

This one dey try grab Edo people to join him Oduduwa republic. Like i have said before, Yorubas will not have the Hausa-Fulani to hide behind to do shit. It really makes me laugh realizing the Yorubas think they can or will subjugate the Bini. Same Bini people who ran a recognizable empire for centuries? this is the people who you think will be politically under you? Ok na. You will just manage to hand them another empire on a platter, one which they will never reliquish. Ever wonder why they are claiming Igbanke people or Anioma people who obviously, even to the blind, are Igbos? They still have designs for an empire. Take a good look at the Fulani modus operandi and look again at that of the Bini.

I can't control the Ipob members. They don't speak for many Igbos. It's just that the media is giving them much relevance all thanks to the Yorubas who have made him a talking point.

But on the issue of ethnic warfare, Nigeria is to be blamed for this. Every kid that is born in this country is first loyal to his tribe before his country.

But before you die for nothing, remember that the leaders of opinion in your state (that is, the people who matter in Edo state) have no problem with the S-W/Yoruba.

Get ready to do so.

Thank God my campaign is yielding positive results. Edos are Yorubas and I am glad that SW are already on open arms ready to welcome them to the big family.

You mean to say the Etsako people. Well, Edo North is collectively known as Afemai, and they will tag along with their Esan and Benin brothers, together with Non anioma delta to form a republic- much to the disappointment of the Biafrans and Ooduas cool

I've never seen any of them attack yoruba before

You don't have a brain. How can Benin be under people they've conquered before? It's impossible.

Just because British once joined us together and that "Western region" abomination happened doesn't make us one.

I've never seen a Yoruba seeing this, they aren't attache or trying hard to involve themselves in minorities affair...

You need to have your brain checked

Why did you have to put your anger and frustration before a lie?

I have given you the go ahead to commit suicide since you insist, so why this tantrum?

Anyways, the only conquest I remember is when Ibadan slave-raided and sacked territories of Benin Kingdom in the 1800s.

I also remember the Nupes coming after the Yorubas to conquer those same territories of Benin Kingdom.

The Igbos also did in the late 1900s.

The 2by2 Benin Kingdom seem to be a historically helpless Kingdom.
