Gregboy & Davidnazee Igbo own half of Edo. Ontop of that Igbo invaded & conquered Edo in 1967-1970 Ijaw also own an extension If Nigeria dissolves & Igboid towns to with Igbo & Ijaw towns go with Ijaw. I wonder what would be left of Bini TAO11 1 Like |

OgboAto:You no serious.... Why not take a census and know the exact number of the so called igboid and ijaw groups .... Fact remains Bini, Esan, Etsako, Owan and Akoko Edo constitute 99% of Edo indigenous population. Any other thing you type here is fallacy |

OgboAto:Igbo conquered Edo in 1967 abi? So how many of your people lives were worth it? It didn't even last a year LMAO. The present igboland has many tribes within it.. for example there are igala people in anambra and ebonyi. Many indigenous akwa cross tribes are present in abia state. You people aren't homogeneous as you claim to be |

I think they are mor ishans than binis.in the 7 lgas of binis,50% or close to that are non indigenes just as ikwerre land in rivers is mostly inhabited by non indigenes.the real binis cannot be more than 60%.again,they are small numbers of ijaw and Igbo communities indigenous to those lgas. But for esan land,85% of the population is pure esan.therefore, esans are slightly more populous than binis |
Re: A Detailed Analysis Of The People Of Edo State by Chemist009(m): 11:21am On May 17, 2020 |
senatordave1:That's not true.... Assuming 60% of Edo South are the Bini's as you claim, that's nearly 1.5 million people.... Whereas the entire Esanland is less than 800,000 people. Meaning the real esans are less than 700,000. The Bini's are way more than the Esans 1 Like |

Re: A Detailed Analysis Of The People Of Edo State by senatordave1(m): 1:41pm On May 17, 2020 |
matex97: If you go by that parameters, can we agree that lagos indigenes are more than ogun, osun or oyo indigenes? Can you agree that ikwerre indigenes are more than ijaw ogoni indigenes in rivers? So you can't use those parameters,it is misleading especially urbanization as most of the dwellers in urban areas are settlers. By the way I just recalculated and discovered that binis are more but not as much as the figures will portray |
