See who's talking, we fought for independence from this contraption called Nigeria, your fathers fought against us opting out.

If you love Nigeria more, what are you doing in Imo state thread? Does it look like Ogbomosho? You won't see a Ghanaian on this thread?
C'mon, nairaland isn't an igbo forum. tongue

You think I'm gonna stoop so low on a Sunday to have a chatter with you? Nobody cares what happen over there. Stop flooding nairaland with whatever that happen in your whatever region you call it. If your region is damn conducive as you claimed, you and your kinsmen won't be dying to have Lagos alone to yourselves. What's the economic sense in having empty houses littered in your region while the owners live in Southwest doing spare parts biz or you think we don't know? Ọdẹ ọmọ
Post pictures of Akure, Abeokuta, Ado Ekiti,Ibadan and Osogbo let compare, however you guys that started posting pictures of your cities on nairaland, immediately Igbos started posting theirs you guys vanished. , go and check cash deposit in eastern states and compare to typical western states then you will know those houses are not empty

I was in owerri last year september for an official assignment and I stayed over a month there, you can't drive for 5 mins without dodging a pothole, very poor drainage system. Owerri is flooded during the rainy season.

We don't need to know what's happening in that backyard region. We have more important things to discuss than some random pictures of a region the world doesn't know exist. Know your lane on nairaland and learn to respect your landlords, this isn't ya aunty Linda's blog.

Some bigots will be bragging about their state of origin.Who cares the f^ck about building met for rich people that I can't enter freely.Nigeria is a failed state officially, an average Nigerian can't avoid this place,go to every trash place in the world u which still beautiful places made for the overpriviledged rich place to enjoy their money.Ibadan and Abeokuta is filled of brown roofings but when u get to some location u be like wtf likewise kano, ondo,Enugu, anambra, jos e.t.c.Show ur own status stop bragging about a nationality that knows u not if u are not wealthy.

Brother, are you not shameless that you think you can go shoulder to shoulder with Yoruba on their own forum? Don't you get it? Almost everyone hates your tribe simply because of pride and ego. This is nairaland, owned by a Yoruba man. Whatever we do or say here is exclusively our rights, so it's you and your fellow co-travellers invading our space. Your role is just to read comments here, not argue. We don't care what happens over there in your region and if you must share pictures online about your region, take it to Linda's blog. Don't come claim rights here on nairaland. This isn't Lagos, your "no man's land". grin
You never see anything , you don't care but you are commenting on Igbo thread, I don't care who own the site, there are other popular sites owned by Igbos your people are also there nobody is restricting them, so save your sorry epistle.

Guy calm down! Ethnic bigot? Count me out......i was born and bred in Lagos, and all my siblings. All my education, from primary to tertiary na here I do all. 75% of my friends are Omo-oluabis, and I have family members that their wife's are Yorubas.

But my anger is when some of you guys that haven't travelled to the eastern States come online to spew trash about a region you know nothing about.

Like I said, count me out of tribalism and so it is with most Igbos. An average Igbo man is only interested in his business and how to make money to better the lots of his family members and his community. In Igbo land if you're wealthy and your wealth doesn't affect the community no body will regard you. It's a competition in Igbo land to make money and impact your immediate environment.

No vex say I call you an ethnic bigot! I apologize o!

No mind my people. The real problem are the tribalists here. Funny thing is that many of them have friends and even blood relations such as nieces and nephews who are half-Igbos but when they come online, they turn to something else.

I told my brother who stays in the UK that I'd like to set up a forum like this for the U.K.

He said that I should forget the idea that there would be too much racism and bigotry there and it would not do well. These are the same people who are very civil when you're with them. It pains me. Imagine people using the N word or calling gays fa.g....s?
