This forum is seriously becoming a breeding ground for miss information, moreover ever since the outbreak of this virus, Rivers State have just experienced total lock down for just 4 days, in addition to the one that will begin from Monday the 18th... Go to Slaughter Market and Boricamp gate each day and see trucks offloading food items from both within in and out side the state, you people should stop misinforming people. |

desiredhome:I doubt if you know Rivers State,. A Rivers man can't produce food without the North? I guess you are blind and can't see, come to markets in Rivers and see how many of the products there can't be sourced from the state, some of you are either too naive, lack confidence or are not vast in information gathering. So if you are from the south south, no food is produced in your own locality or community, my brother my village in Rivers State produces wide variety of Agricultural products and we are into the farming season now. Get informed, we all need each other in the business chain, they need our markets to get the cash while we need some of the products from them to compliment the ones available here to get a balanced meal or diet. So if that is what you have been having in your head get rid of it, becos this lock down have revealed quiet a lot of things. |

Righteousness89:Nigeria is already a banana republic. The moment a governor can demolish a private property without going through the courts or due process, the country has created a definition of her predicament. Both Wike and the federal government are no fit to lead any civilized nation. |
| Re: Lockdown: Fg’s Take Over Of Food Movement In Rivers Worrisome – Trad Rulers by Nobody: 9:58pm On May 18, 2020 |
dbonks:Be sincere with yourself bro, Rivers State cannot produce agricultural products that will sustain her indigenes. Most of the garri produced by ogonis and other areas can't survive this state for a month, they source more garri from Delta. Most of the crayfish are from nembe and Oron (Akwa ibom), I'm not talking about vegetable products and dairy products from the north o, let's be sincere and remove emotions from our posts. Even the North depends on the south for some products too. |

Fg is only interested in bringing Almajiri criminals into Rivers state by force. The foôls supporting this move by the fg are paid zombies who keep quiet when northern states deport almajiri |
