I wasn't about their scrubs but the ropes around their waists. It didn't sit so well( not necessarily fitted as it is supposed to be loose). The daughter's still okay compared to her mama. That's what I meant!

The good thing is that, you quoted my original comment. I said "the rope around their waists though". If you think I meant to say " Scrubs", my question is, do they wear uniforms/garments around the waist (only) cos the waistline was my emphasis.
I would have said "Thank You" but unfortunately I knew the word long before now(career day(s) in Primary/Secondary schools).

First you asked if people wear scrubs then now you want to know if they are worn around the waist.
They are a pair of top and bottom
The top is a short sleeved shirt while the bottom is of same fabric with drawstrings and they are worn together with the drawstrings adjusted in the waist areafor fit.

U didnt need to stretch this long. Your First post/question was clear enough you said "Rope" not "scrub". You had wanted to sound sarcastic but I think your "mentioner" took it that she had to lecture you.

Either you knew what a scrub was or not(I doubt you don't) certainty was that u didnt mention "scrubs"

However , people read comments here and they know what both of you were saying.

If I had said the uniform was overly loose around the waistline, some people on here would call me "bad belle". That was why I left it out and kept mute after mentioning " The rope (now known to me as drawstrings thanks to her)".
I had thought everyone would get the joke but...
It's okay and I'm sure she sees it that way now and we are cool
