This is where you like many southerners (especially those opposed to this government) always get it wrong.... The issue are
1. Most southerners still hold the notion that northerners are mostly illiterates and not good for any appointments
2. Most southerners believe north to be one tribe (hausa'fulani hence see every northerner as one irrespective of there being three regions up north with hundreds of tribes and lots of Christians and animists
3. Most of the appointment of this government goes to the north/south west being the major blocks that form the APC ruling party that's why theres always murmurings whenever appointments are made because few appointments come from the east / south south and rightly so because they are and will never be part of this government

I dare you to do a detailed analysis of heads of government agencies and parastatals (over 600 of them ) and you will realize you have been unjustly accusing this government of nepotism... Southerners head far more agencies than northerners

Besides what exactly is wrong if northerners are more in the security services are the southerners not dominant in health, education, commerce, industry, law, science and technology etc..... It's only greed that will make some southerners want EVERYTHING to come to the south and hypocrisy of the highest order

You are not making sense. The constitution guarantees that what Buhari has done is not correct. Federal character is supposed to reign supreme. Quota system is the root of all the nonsense in this country. If there is no quota system, trust me, 95% of the north will know nothing like education. When they climb up the ladder through quota system and get into position in govt offices, you'll realise they aren't fit for those offices because they never merited their rise to power. That is why southerners dominated those sectors you mentioned in your last paragraph. You can't give what you don't have.

And... you are wrong, the executive is filled with the North, while those who make sure things run using their brains, are filled by the south. More like, monkey day work, baboon day chop! I barely comment in the politics section, because these threads are usually filled with rats paid in crumbs or aggrieved oppositions who wished they are at the epicentre where corruption takes place. Without "quota" the southerners will be riding everyone roughshod, remember there are hundreds of Christian tribes in the north who got exposed to education by missionaries who also deserve a fair share of their country but people like you lump them all together as "illiterates" fit for no appointment.
