it is no longer news that girls who have this foul smell down there have /had multiple sex partners past/presently ..its not an STI but having raw sex with multiple partners is a risk factor .. So you may wanna look in that direction before advising her to take treatment because it's treatable 100%

You should help her then, my 2cents
Take her to a lab for a vagina swap test, it could be an untreated infection
Buy her new undies, let her dispose her old ones
Let her take good care of herself during menstruation, bathing twice a day at least and using proper toiletries,
She should avoid using scented soaps in washing her vj, could lead to infection
Most important, good personal hygiene is paramount
Personally i use only water to wash my privates, but you must be ready to go deep and wash properly, if not buy a vagina wash, normal soap does more harm than good
Changing undies at least once in 3-6 months is important
sundrying undies is also important
Then lastly get her roll on for the armpits(shaved), a body spray and perfume

This is something alot of guys over look that smell should send alarm bells ringing in your head ... If it's caused by bacterial or fungi then she will get some symptoms and will definitely get treatment..
