yes o, since you know that Igbo girls are not brought up well, why are your western brothers running down to the east to pay a huge bride price for an Igbo girl ?
why are they seeing it as an achievement ?they can even put it in their CV.
pls sit down and stop foaming in the mouth in the name of talking

Go to ipob Facebook page and counter them.
as for the coup, you guys killed our aguiyi ironsi in retaliation plus hundred of Igbos in the north.
so keep quiet, no one here gives a dime about your Ahmed bello.

So when they show you the same level of hate and they tell you they don't give a flying Bleep about y'all, stop running to Nairaland to open a wail thread, OK?

Hundreds of Igbos weren't just killed in the North for no reason. Go dust your history books.

I see that you didn't mention the hundreds of Northerners you killed in retaliation in the east, whose corpses were found floating in the Niger.

All you hear day in, day out is, "we are marginalized", "they hate us", "woe is me", blah blah blah.

I would have told you to get over yourselves already, but I know you can't.

It is inborn.

Reminds me of the jubilation of Igbos in the North after the coup when the northern leaders were killed like chicken plus the attendant cries of "We Igbos will dominate".

What followed was a pogrom and the attendant cry, "they hate us..."

Today, no one is talking about the initial jubilation. Just the resultant massacre.

Same thing here.

Kanu has been preaching hate all over the media.

He coined names like "Fulani", "yorrober" etc to denigrate ethnicities in Nigeria.

Names that his followers happily parrot in glee.

Now, they want us to believe that the hate is unjustified.

Only people who don't know you fall for your tricks.
Yoruba man stop foaming in the mouth, who started the hate... Igbos? Go back to your archives of history if you even have the brain for basic research, and study the real progenitors of hate speech in Nigeria. The likes of Akintola who became infamous for his "Yoruba ronu" speech where he stirred the very hornest's nest of hate and bigotry by sensitizing his people against the Igbos on some paranoic and rather unfounded fear of "Igbo domination"... as if Igbos invaded the Western region with guns and forced their way into the top positions of academia, civil services and politics. Ahmadu Bello also shared in the same sentiments against the Igbos, the music of "Ibo domination" became an orchestra of mellifluous music to the ears of other Nigerians towards their countrymen.

As for the coup, revisionism will not deter the truth from been told. What led to the coup? why can't the Yorubas be intelligent and honest enough to admit for ONCE that if that coup didn't happen, the whole West would have been upside in anarchy and chaos, your people pioneered the first acts of political unrest and barbarity in Nigeria in the "Operation wetie" madness, killing each other and dousing political opponents with raw acid and the likes...until the boys in khaki intervened and doused the tensions. Need I also remind you, incase your proclivity for selective memory or historical amnesia doesn't allow you... that there were also men from other parts of Nigeria involved in the coup as well? I'm sure a couple of Yorubas also participated in the coup. Go and read Major Wale Ademoyaga's book on the coup titled "Why We Struck", he was one of the five majors and also... yeah you guessed right YORUBA. Go read his book and get an unbiased perspective on the coup by one of its principal actors.

As for Nnamdi Kanu, he's only a product of the hate Nigeria has long espoused as a principle against his people. And trust me there's NOTHING he has said that many ethnic supremacist before him like El rufai (a public office holder), Junaid Muhammad and even Adeyinka Grandson etc haven't said about Igbos. Yoruba ronu speech of Akintola is still haunting the Igbo man as it highlighted their agenda to dominate every federal position while in partnership with the uneducated North. The speech also stressed the need for the better educated Yoruba to align with the Northern led Federal Government, so as to have a voice at the table when executive decisions are being made and appointments are being shared, as opposed to the Igbo merits all agenda of Azikiwe and NCNC who were the junior partners to the Northern NPC.

Besides, how can that speech make Akintola famous he was already the Premier of the Western region?

Every Yoruba must listen to that speech and realize the greedy fellows we have always had in our midst.

When many Yorubas have forgotten about the speech, Igbos like you keep on reminding us why you killed Akintola, and also helping to reinforce why you should not be sympathized with when you are wailing about marginalization.

He who marginalized with arrogant and blatant nepotism, has now become the marginalized.

Poetic Justice.

All these "South east is not landlocked" threads being created by some Igbo's here especially Igbos are not necessary,
what exactly do you want to prove, who do you want to convince?
why dragging an issue over and over again year to year especially on a platform like Nairaland.
let's get emotionally matured please,
the term Landlocked refers to an area that does not have a "DIRECT" access to the ocean via a sea,
and as long as I am concerned, South East Nigeria do not have direct access to the ocean but they do have some Rivers that flows into the Atlantic ocean but those rivers do not flow in directly because they pass through the territory of a south southern state,
Some have suggested dredging and expanding the river to the ocean, yes it is possible besides I have watched a documentary about an artificial sea created to support a seaport in an Asian country but who is going to do the dredging and expansion?
such a capital project requires the full approval and support of the Federal Government , and it is glaring that the possibility of that happening is very minimal.
River port and Dry port are two things that we should be talking about instead of all these unnecessary noise about seaport,
its unfortunate that we found ourselves in a hate filled country, had it been that it is a country where Love and peace reign, all the seaports in South South geopolitical zone ought to be functioning fully, but we know why it is not so, so that a particular geo political zone close to south south will not benefit from it, so that they will continue to cluster in Lagos to import thereby swelling up their Internal Generative Revenue,
we know this game,
Dry ports in a developing country are used to connect landlocked states to the sea port via a rail network, it is this technology that can be used to connect the whole northern states that are far from the ocean to the seaport.
the same dry port in Aba and Onitsha will play a crucial role in the economic activities of these two cities.

FFK is a mere Igbo apologetic bastard, we don't know him, the one in Ondo state was just like a bone in the throat of the governor, she was about to be husband-less for life, that was when the governor came to her rescue, she is older than the governor, davido's chioma is just for the main time, remember there is trust issues between them, she will soon go the way of Sophia, she is like a pig watched and dressed with gold, she has already started wallowing in the mold with Peruzzi, she is a typical Igbo woman with insatiable lust.

@thread like I said earlier. No matter how yorubas lament about Igboland, the truth remains that the same route that allowed the Aros, Ekpeyes, and other Igbos to trade with the white man on the atlantic during in pre-colonial times before any Igbo man ever heard the word 'yoruba' will still be used for international trade in Biafraland.

yorubas can shout themselves hoarse about landlocked, etc, while abookis in Kwara continue to impregnate their yoruba wives, mothers, and sister through the anusz, it changes nothing. grin
