Celibacy cannot cause birth complications. As in: you can't give birth, if you were celibate, so by definition a person giving birth was not celibate. In addition, virgins - who were by definition celibate until their intimate act - have not been documented to be more likely to have birth complication. There's no evidence to support celibacy (after being active) has any bearing.

At any rate, there are so many changes in a woman's body between conception and delivery that prior "celibacy" plays no practical role: in this case the cervix shuts tight (though may be softer) after conception, and then starts to dilate on its own in the weeks preceding childbirth.

What I mean by "complications" here is the case of small or tight cervix which is common with this kind of situation. At least I have married friends who told me doctors always sound it to them to engage in it often to help ease delivery. So many reasons why I'm asking.
