Greetings house trust all is going well please i was told to come here and ask questions God bless us all
First of all I am going for my masters in finance at Windsor university
Here is my query
1)My mother is my sponsor but here is the issue she doesn’t own no CAC documents cause basically she is not into running a company, but she has so many inherited properties and she also sells and buys Properties too , I have printed out her statement and for the case of supporting documents as source of income she gave to give me the “THE TRANSFER OF INTEREST IN LAND AGREEMENT “ about 5 showing the properties she sold and also the ones she paid for.
These documents I am talking about are notarized , signed and stamped by her lawyer.
is it advisable to go ahead and submit ?

2) do co-sponsors have to submit their source of income too ??

3) my elder brother owns a real estate company he has the complete CAC documents is there any way I can join it to my application as source of income for my mum since it’s literally buying and selling of properties she does to sum the money in her account or I should just go ahead and submit what she gave me !?

God bless us all
Cc mcobex, justmellow, frankrobbn1, Naijaforeigner Wunaarroon69 , and everyone who can be kind enough to advice me I am about submitting my application

Hello Tonyodg,

Since your mom doesn't have a CAC certificate, does she has tax clearance or other government revenue payment? If yes, this can be a substitute. The most suitable way in this scenario for your mom to demonstrate her source of income is stating she's a realtor. Then provide valid documents and transactional history. Mind you, as a realtor and real estate investor, there should be more to just the DEEDS or AGREEMENT of sale/transfer. There should be financial and professional documents outside legal documents that can solidly back her source of funds.

It is only right for a co-sponsor to not only demonstrate the source of funds but evidently prove it. The major reason for a co-sponsor is based on a collective support between the principal and the second sponsor towards the committed intent. So, it should be made clear to the VO who will be taking care of your LE and the tuition fees. However, irespective of the available funds, just do well to be able to prove they both have a reliable source of income with tangible evidence.

All the best

Crystalheart:
Good day my people
A friend of mine works with a concrete production firm (main role: determines and formulates chemical composition of their products, product testing and other lab works).

He wants to do PGD/C in related field, I have searched using "PGD/C in concrete chemistry and Concrete technology in Canada" but none came up.

So I decide to ask here, if anyone knows college(s) offering such or related programs please help list them. Thanks
@Crystalheart,

u might likely not see a skool in CANADA offering a course fully specialized in
CONCRETE CHEMISTRY/CONCRETE TECH.

Some schools in UK, New Zealand and other country offers Specialized Masters/PGD/PGC in CONCRETE Chem./CONCRETE Tech.

Its mostly a course component in Civil Engineering programs in Canada university and also an Industrial Work shop course or Short Graduate Certificate Course e.g CHEMISTRY OF CEMENTS AND CONCRETE, University of Toronto, Department of Civil & Mineral Engineering
https://civmin.utoronto.ca/home/programs/courses/graduate-courses/civ1299s/

So u might need to check for DLI institution (Schools) in Canada offering PGD/PGC programs in Civil Engineering/ Chemical Engineering , Industrial Engineering or any Engineering or Chemistry field that deals with Chemical Processing which should have Course Components in CONCRETE CHEM./CONCRETE TECH.

Good luck

Go through the GCMS note and deal with the VO's concern. Also, get your siblings to sign an affidavit on your behalf, stating your application for a study permit is solely for studying. You do not intend to immigrate to Canada. You will return to Nigeria after you complete your studies or before your status expires. That you will not rely on Canadian public funds or social assistance.
Goodluck

Thanks smiley

Thanks for your response @JustMellow.

Sponsor is 25 years old. Landed properties in Lagos worth a substantial amount. Investment in Agro-tech companies also worth a substantial amount. History of investment in treasury bills and fixed deposits, but all have been liquidated. Last one was liquidated a few months ago due to the devaluation of Naira. Parents are retired, currently on pension and have a few properties. Pension is their only regular income. I have a registered business name, however business name does not currently match with what I do. Most investment are in Crypto and can be easily converted to Naira and USD. However, I fear depositing one lump sum and using this as proof of funds to avoid money lodgment.

Applicant as at time of application was working in a Tech company. She owns no Landed properties. Applicant is 23 years old. Has a bachelors degree in Business Administration 2nd Class Upper. She has the financial status of a typical young Nigerian worker, about 100-150K Naira Salary. However, I have started to pay some money into one of her accounts to build it up pending when we make the next application. Applicant is also member of multiple organizations and participates in extra-curricular activities.

Note, we already paid part of the fees amounting to about 20,000$CAD

Denial response were as follows:

Thank you for your interest in visiting Canada. After careful review of your student permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:

Pursuant to paragraph 220(a) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue.

Pursuant to paragraph 220(b) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to maintain yourself and any family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study.

Pursuant to paragraph 220(c) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the cost of transporting yourself and any family members who are accompanying you to and from Canada.

And yes, we can definitely barter knowledge.

JustMellow:

Hello Naijaoyibo,

This post really got my attention in numerous ways. One for the fact that you have surplus funds for the sponsorship intent and two, you can't show this funds. My response may not suffice enough to the best advantageous way to your query due to certain limited information regarding the following:

Sponsor:

1. Age
2. Landed Properties
3. Parents circumstances/situation
4. Personal level of establishmet
4. Status
5. Outside investment other than Crypto

Applicant:

1. Personal circumstances
2. Financial status
3. Status
4. Previous program
5. Employment/current situation/circumstances

The house will be able to guide you better with info to these reverse querry. Maybe we could be help to each other because I am really interested in Crypto. We could barter knowledge.

Hello,

I have a little concern.

My sponsor has about 9M in his account and we have paid tuition.

My concern is that i am using his savings account and his 4Months statement of account is just 1 page since he doesn't use it much.

Now, should i be worried because it's just 1 page?

Etx is just an online portal, only useful to create the application for transcript. They don’t follow up, they don’t give update. Once your application is created they just wait for whenever the school is ready to process transcript. And you know Nigerian factor. If there is nobody on ground to “grease” your application those people at admin will just pack it to one side. So once you create the application on the ETX portal, look for someone in your school e.g a lecturer friend or non academic staff friend that will help you follow up on ground.

Your not having worked before May. The question the VO will be asking is why has your husband suddenly decided to spend such a huge amount on your education?

I am in this situation too, though in my case I have been doing small business but just for pocket money, nothing substantial. I got a refusal and one of the reasons was current employment situation.

You will have to spend some time explaining in your SOP the earning power of your new degree and the job availability in Nigeria once you are done. Your Husband being your only sponsor is actually the best, as long as he has enough funds.

Yes it is necessary...

Letter of Sponsorship even though its notarized has more of the Sponsor doing the talking of the Applicant he or she wanna sponsor..

While

Affidavit is a legal document on its own, showing the name of the court, state, country, and some other law declaration terminologies... Its as if one is taking an OATH..

So the Affidavit somehow compliments a Letter of Sponsorship and make information from the Sponsor much more genuine..

Find attached a Sample to see aw an AFFIDAVIT of Support looks like...

There is no standard format of doing affidavit

Please go to the court and tell them what you want. They will draft an affidavit for you. Generic documents are not advised.

Hello All,

whats are the chances of securing a Canadian Study Visa for a Master Degree after an F1 refusal from the US consulate last year?
This is for January 2021 intake.

Assuming my sponsor has all what it takes to pay all fees.

Good evening house.
I already have my Bsc & Msc here in Nigeria, I intend to apply for a one year professional Certificate program in Canada as a way to expand my career and professional knowledge.
I just want to know if there's anyone who've gotten visa approval for advance Certificate programs before.
Thanks for the assistance.

Please I need an answer or an advice to this questions that’s bothering me seriously. Abeg.
Gurus in the house sirs and madams
Please, Please, I need your help.

I have been following this thread for years. Please help

Credentials now: A lawyer in Nigeria before coming to join me in Asia and MBA, Masters in Peace and Diplomacy (I am thinking of taking the MBA out in the CV or resume because to many masters)

Program now: Master's Conflict Studies
Program Length: 2 years

My wife just got admission for a Master’s Program in Conflict Studies for fall 2020 (A two years program). We live in one of the Asian countries. My sister’s husband in Nigeria is the main sponsor. I as the husband, want to be a co-sponsor (because I think it responsible as the husband to be a sponsor even though my sister will sponsor tuition and boarding), but I do not have enough money in my account here. I am writing in my sponsorship letter that I will be using my land in Nigeria to take a loan from my sister to be a cosponsor even though, my sister is taking full responsibility for the studies with about 40 million naira (Tuition and boarding is about 9 million naira for one year). Please does it make sense?

Why a Masters in Peace Studies and Diplomacy even after two Master's already in the SOP
Reason for Masters in Conflict Studies: It is because I want to study conflict because Peace studies does not give me a well-rounded background in conflict studies so that is why I am studying conflict in masters before a Phd( her intention or goal in the SOP is to be a consultant or lecturer)Academic career. 1st masters is peace studies and 2nd masters is conflict studies

Finance (Costs):
Tuition for the 1 year is = CAD 4,900 x3 (almost CAD15,000) N4,200,000
Living expense 1yr: CAD10000 = N2,800,000
Misc: CAD $5000 = N1,400,000
Total money for a year: CAD 30,000 (N8,400,000)
POF needed (from my younger sister and husband) = N40 million and some landed properties.
Only my wife is applying ( I am staying with the 2 kids here)
What would you advice.... me.....I am still writing the SOP

Read reviews about them on Google to decide if you will still use them or not.

From the reviews I read about them so far, they are very slow and inefficient.
