1.) Ask yourself, what is the US form of government? Where do the states derive their power and the federal government. What powers are set aside for both? When there is an emergency doe the Federal Government(President) get more power? Answer those questions and you'll realize how stupid the notion that Trump couldn't do more is. That has been the problem, he hasn't used the powers he has. Listen to Obama's recent critique. There is no long term national Covid strategy. He has decided to leave it all to the states even shutting down our CDC"s guidelines for reopening, because he thinks he can escape blame that way.

2.) In terms of testing. Google "per capita". Now ask yourself where does the US stand w/ respect to the rest of the world in per capita testing. A hint, if a nation has 5 billion citizens and does 25 million tests and a nation has 25 million citizens and does 25 million tests. Which nation is doing a better job with testing?

3.) Re: Ventilators. There wasn't enough ventilators so people asked him to use the DPA (Defense production act) to build more. So, after weeks of media criticism, he said he wouldn't. Guess what, he finally did use the DPA to force GM to produce more ventilators and we have enough. The criticism is that this stuff should have been done in Jan. when the US's intelligence agencies (not the WHO) told Trump we were facing a pandemic...not in March after a month of criticism.

4.) There are numerous studies on Chloroquine and Covid. In fact there was a massive study released today (though not randomized or double blind, but still the best one out). Go read them and answer your own question. In fact, you should go to the CDC/FDA site and see what they say. You know the US CDC/FDA, the government agencies Trump is in charge of. The agencies' and scientists' opinions he flouts by still taking Chloriquine.

5.) I generally don't get my news from TV... but I do read. I think you should as well. Read multiple articles on the same thing and ask yourself while reading what bias the site may have, what bias the writer may have and judge the actual FACTS they use.

You don't live in the US, and I'm sure don't read much US news, but you do sound like you listen to Fox News. I often wondered what it would take for the US to look like Nigeria. I don't anymore. I spend a lot of time in Nigeria and it's pretty scary to see the US going down that road. Imagine the corruption in Nigeria, that is what Trump is turning the US into with the consent of a willing Republican party. The list is soo long. Every day is some new craziness, some new norm that is broken (firing FBI chiefs, telling his government to investigate people, firing IG's, trying to steer federal contracts to his private companies, the constant lying, the self dealing, shit, his son in law basically runs the country, not giving documents to our Congress, basically stonewalling all attempts at oversight, Not complying with subpoenas, holding up Congressionally approved money to a country unless they announced an investigation into Biden), things any other president would have successfully been impeached over or just resigned over.
