I have been having connectivity issue between my PC and my redmi note 8t.when connected and the prompt comes up, nothing happens if I select 'file transfer' (the device is not visible on the PC) but if I select 'transfer photos', the device is visible but only photos can be viewed. Do you know that Xiaomi had to pay for development to take off on the RN8 PRO, there was initially no hope of a working GCam initially on that device. And it is still very difficult to get a stable GCam from other Modders apart for wyroczen on that device. RN7 and RN8 are spurred of choices of GCam, be it parrot, urynx, jairo Rossi, Rz_end, BSG, etc

got the Redmi note 8 at Computer Village Ikeja for 67,500 naira on Wednesday. The phone is scare now, had to search for it in more than 5 shops because it's out of stock in virtually the shops i went to.

If they like they should build a MTK chip that will be more powerful that the best Snapdragon chip for the fact that MediaTek won't release their source code to developers will never make any sensible tech person consider that chipset.
If you want to really know how strong or weak your phone is flash a new ROM then you will know if you have a powerful device or an overated phone slapped with camera sensors with high numbers.
Everyone has his/her preferences but to me there are 2 main people about gadgets
One will ask you how many megapixels do your phone have or runs straight to the camera to take a picture
Second will ask what SOC it's using, you these people if you open your mouth and say MT Kini Kan Kini Kan .. they'll just look you and laugh internally because they no that no matter how speced that device hardware may be that chipset is just holding it down.

Reset your phone network settings
And then restart your PC
Like complete restart... Not shut down and switching on like we normally do

Click on Restart in the power prompt menu
For the file issue, you might want to locate your phones USB settings.

Been using this device for 2 weeks and so far so good it has exceeded my expectations to be honest.
