What corroborated both parties?

The magic is that none of those accounts bear Obasa's name.

Let me help you. Whoever generated that document initially used the BVN to do a search within a banking system or government financial crime system, which then show all the bank accounts with the names and other details that is tied to that BVN. You guys should use your common sense now.
