The closest I had came in contact with a ghost was when a very close, dear family member died years ago. So we all went for the burial. This was someone I missed so much and would have done whatever I could to have her back. Before then, I have heard stories about ghosts appearing and all those spooky things. My most memorable ghost stories were even from this deceased relative. I was well informed about ghosts, so I thought.
So, I was determined that if this person ever appeared to me, I was going to hold her down, raise alarm and never let her go back to wherever she was coming from. I was that determined.
It happened that one of the nights after she was buried, I went outside at the backyard of the house to pee, lo and behold there she was at the other end staring at me directly. In that darkness I could not quite make out her face but the body stature was so real; I couldn't have missed it.
If I had wasted time to second guess, I reckoned I would missed my only chance of capturing her back to life. I acted very fast and swift. In one quick dash, I sprung towards her and circled my arms around her in that mixed feeling of fear and excitement. I didn't care one bit about the consequences of my action, all I wanted was to have her back. She made to free herself but my grips were iron tight.
Then she called my name in utter surrender, that was when I recognized the voice. It was one of my aunties who had also came for the burial and was outside to also pee. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.
It was a very closed call for me to had seen a real ghost.

Now about that kind of experience.. I have had that before, same exact thing, many years ago at Apapa,
when my grandfather died, he have a big upstairs at welma road, all the family and kids refused to stay in the big house, so my mum who's a very strong woman brought me to the house n both of us start staying there, we cleaned the whole house because it was old and dusty since nobody gree stay there, after the serious cleaning and it's now looking good.. The night we wanted to sleep, we started hearing serious banging on the door, like someone is trying to break in, we look there's no one there but it still continues banging.. I remember I will just be crying, the next day it upgraded to banging and footsteps walking in the passage, but funny thing, like I said, my mum is a very strong woman, a serious Christian way carry church for head like government work, she dey always tell me this words(she don see 99 the remaining 1 no be anything) well all this things were happening she doesn't scare, she'll come out to the passage n pray and tell me to keep quiet and not cry, that they can do us anything, and she'll say when they don tire to walka them go go back to where they came from, basically that house was really haunted, I had many nightmares, sometimes in my sleep ill feel someone or a breeze pressing me.. Well long story short, we called a pastor that came to the house, pray and anoint the whole compound, and that was the last we saw of the strange activity. So basically I'm saying prayer is the keep, if you ain't spirituality strong enough, get a pastor or anyone that's stronger to do it, typing this story right now dey give me goosebumps, my hairs don start for my body, like say na yesterday the shit happen hahaha

There was this landlord in Benin that had what people thought was a ghost hunted apartment for rent. Tenants would pay for one year in advance but would leave before 6months, some even in the first two months because they claimed they were haunted by a particular ghost.
Rumor had it that the landlord had used a little girl that was hawking banana for ritual and the girl's ghost would always patrol the house and the apartments. The ghost they claimed, would always cry "buy banana, buy banana" in the middle of the nights.
This reoccurred and subsequent tenants would run for their life.
It happened that a stubborn tenant rented the apartment and was ready for the ghost after hearing the stories about previous occupants . So he decided he would keep vigil and wait for the ghost for the first month. Finally the ghost appeared near his window one night and began the usual "buy banana buy banana" chant.
The new tenant got outside and held the ghost, lo and behold it was the landlord's daughter. Her father had planned with her to act like a ghost covered in white clothing so that tenants would be frightened and leave and they would re rented the apartment.
That is how they were exposed.

Childish statement. I've seen my ex neighbour walked past a bar i was chilling across the road. She walked swiftly and was putting on white on a Broad day light. We don't speak anyways but not fighting either, Didn't call her or say hello.

After a few days i met with my brother who told about the lady's death some weeks back before I saw her. i Learnt she traveled away and died there.

One or two people confirmed they saw her recently before the News got to them that she passed away.

My mom got first hand experience too her colleagues at work who died in the village appeared to her on the same bus, but she couldn't talk nor touch her. It all started Last week When a neighbor next to my apartment died without nobody noticing for 2 days until she started smelling. We didn't actually suspect that it was from her room until someone came looking for her because she wasn't answering her phone, which was still ringing inside and the door was locked from the inside that was how we knew she was dead, already swollen because the last time we saw was Sunday night and we didn't know untill Tuesday that she was dead.

All this happened last week. Later that Tueday family and friends with police came to evacuate her corpse. No foul play or any struggle seems she died in her sleep. She was young and a very playful lady and lively. She is 36 years old single mother and she lives.

So the haunting started 2 days later. The First one happened around 2am, My girlfriend said she saw someone looking like standing by the door outside just staring straight at her, there was no light and the window was open, so when she pointed torch light she saw nothing but when she switch the torch light, she saw the shadow of the same person. That really scared shit out of me because she later told me in the morning.

The second was last night. Someone was banging seriously on the toilet window because it's an iron window. The banging continue for almost 3hours. It was double banging as if someone was knocking hard. I doubt it was someone when I try I check I couldn't find anyone there, few minute later the banging continue till around 4.30am when mosque call out for prayer. And I could here some here some sound like someone walking in the next room where she died, no one was home. Her sister refuse to sleep in the room so it was locked.

Please help, how can I get rid of this unwanted disturbances. I don't know what to do. This last night scare me to the bone. The funniest thing. No one heard this banging except me. The other neighbors have different theory.

Anyone experience this kind of thing before? How did you handle it?

Her ghost is still very much around, burying her may not end her presence because she is in what we call "angry mode" she is not disturbing other neighbors like that, it simply means you have something to do with her death maybe indirectly.
