brijibs:How'd you manage that? Did you link your card before verifying? I verified before attempting to link. Did you have any money in your gtb account prior to linking? I don't have any money in my gtb account. After linking, did they deduct money from your bank acct, if so, how much? I'd really appreciate a swift response, thanks in advance. |

samsard:Hi samsard, Please what is that site where you purchase Airtime? I think you mentioned something about that a time ago. Do you still use them? |

Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by Geofavor(m): 5:02pm On May 24, 2020 |
samsard:Thanks. Do you actually use any of these platforms? The rate is cutthroat. ... I will pay a certain amount and receive way lower amount of airtime. |

Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by Geofavor(m): 6:48pm On May 24, 2020 |
Cuteimma1:Better, but still not worth it. There's no point paying exchange fees when I can get the exact amount of airtime I'm buying equal to the amount of money I'm paying if I bought it locally. |
Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by samsard(m): 8:57pm On May 24, 2020 |
Geofavor:If you have enough you'll be withdrawing it. The exchange rate hasn't been updated, that's why it's that low. But when paying for a service in dollars and receiving in Naira, or even when sending money through Transferwise, Xoom or the other services there is no one that will offer you the best exchange rate. You can confirm by checking those platforms. |
Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by Geofavor(m): 10:07pm On May 24, 2020 |
samsard:Okay. Now I see the scenario in which such service can be useful. This being when you can't withdraw your dollars because it's too small. You just use it to buy something online. E.g, Airtime. Thanks |

Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by Mekanus(m): 10:17am On May 25, 2020 |
nwafresh:Same here, if not for that reservation I would have been like, "I can't come and kill myself " That reservation is really sweet, though. My lazy ass don't hustle for calls anymore, I just do the ones reserved. |

kamikaz1:Is that how you console yourself? Even on Gotranscript where people type everything people are still doing 100+ minutes a day, yet you guys will always moan about 800 minutes on Qaworld |
