These issues should have been ironed out and whatever agreements reached before coming out to display stupidity in public, wasting public funds in the process. I don't know why it is so difficult to demonstrate sound leadership in this country!

The Onitsha bridge was commissioned by the then Prime Minister late Alhaji Tafawa Balewa and opened for traffic in December 1965... Less than a month after, The same Balewa was assassinated by the people the commissioned the bridge for.

Less than two years later, the same people destroyed what was built for them.

Oga, the Federal Nigerian Government defined boundary between both state started well before the head bridge. Take a trip down there, you will still see the Federal Government installed signpost that signaled the end of delta and the beginning of Anambra state, and it is well before the head bridge. You will still see other signpost (by individuals and others) after the said FG boundary and well before the head-bridge which are clearly labelled "Anambra State".
