Hello House My profile is: Age - 31 Degree - Electrical/Electronic Engineering Experience - 7 years and counting in Construction in the middle east I intend to take the study route to Canada by doing a diploma in IT which gives a 3 years post study visa. I have read about visa denials when one opts for diploma. Do I stand a good chance? If I proceed, it will be fully self financed. Will that pose a problem during visa application? I intend to use my assets and properties in Nigeria as a proof of ties to Nigeria. I'd appreciate your valuable contributions. |

Chalva:Great congratulations my brother. I admire your determination. It’s a great encouragement. Did you eventually use an immigration lawyer for this your 4th application? After celebration tinz please don’t forget to help the rest of us out with your thoughts on what made the difference in all your previous applications because I seem to remember that you had even paid your full tuition for your third application and yet you were denied. |

Just a quick advise. Please when submitting your application, always crosscheck your CV and make sure it tallies with your SOP. You cannot claim a work experience on your SOP & your CV has not been recently updated or the job responsibilities where not properly specified. Also try to put your documents in a folder and name them accordingly, to avoid mistakes. A colleague of mine mistakenly uploaded Msc certificate instead of Bsc certificate, after claiming she has not done Msc. (She did not want to disclose it in terms of red flags). She got her GCMS notes today and it was highlighted that application shows no study progression as applicant already has a obtained a degree in the same field. It was when she cross checked, that she discovered that she uploaded the wrong certificate Always crosshcheck documents uploaded before submission. Goodluck to everyone |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Lekiboboe: 7:43pm On May 26, 2020 |
crazyinlove:Actually there is really no sequence, but an arrangement and classification will be very essential All those documents of employment, Police character, Degree cert, SOP etc. Will be uploaded in CLIENT INFORMATION and since there is not place to upload each of those documents, U gonna merge it together into one PDF file. use the online tool below to merge ur PDF files... https://www.ilovepdf.com/merge_pdf In order to make it cool in terms of arrangement and not in a scattering manner, u can categorise dem amd list them on a Table of Content format (using MS Word) and type arrange dem e.g EDUCATION B.Sc /HND /M.SC Cert. Transcript WAEC /Neco result WEC Cert. (If u av) Letter of Confirmation of Proficiency in English Language (that's if u can get it from ur school) MERGE ALL DOCS. in THIS section ......move to the next page Hometies-Family ties Parents Landed Properties.. U gonna list all docs. U intend to upload E.g Deed of Assignment Affidavit of sales and other necessary land doc. Birth certificate of ur siblings etc. MERGE ALL DOCS. in THIS section .....move to d Next page. Others Statement of Purpose (SOP) Police Clearance cert. and any other supporting documents Proof of Funds/Financial file has its own Upload Section That's where u gonna upload ur sponsor docs. (dad, Mum, Bro. Etc.. E.g Tuition fee payment receipt Sponsorship letter Affidavit of support etc. Do all this Categorization arrangement on Microsoft Word, then when u are done with what u typed on MS WORD, convert it to PDF using the link below https://www.ilovepdf.com/word_to_pdf Note: if u eventually merge all the documents together, make sure it is not more than 4MB on the dot (I.e 4.00MB)... Cos it won't upload if its more than that. Use the online tool below to compress ur documents if necessary.. https://www.ilovepdf.com/compress_pdf DETAILED LIST OF DOCUMENTS FOR STUDY VISA AND THEIR APPROPRIATE CATEGORIES FOR UPLOAD https://www.nairaland.com/4773130/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/33#72169936 |
