Reminded me of the time Corp. Festus and I went on an stealth/assault mission in the jungles of Madagascar one moonless night like that.



Our mission was to destroy a strategic position in the landmass held the Kobaki Rebel Forces, a power hungry group of rascals who had valiantly tried to seize control of the jungle and its many resources and were bent on enslaving the country to serve its ruthless dictator leader, Gen. Ackmad D. Jibrin



Our V-22 Osprey chopper dropped us off at a level grassland in a town situated not far the Kobaki stronghold we were preparing to raid and squash beneath our military grade boots.

Festus and I had equipped our M16-A4 rifles and night googles and were all set for action.

We were about to begin our stealth mission when we came under heavy gunfire!!



Ambushed!!!



The ratatatatatatatata sound from the enemy's AKM and Beryl M762 rifles drowned out the once peaceful sounds of insects chirping in the night.


I looked around for Corp. Festus in the ongoing bedlam when I spotted him in a M1126 IA vehicle with Lit. Abba handling a railgun



They were hotly chasing a rebel jeep into a nearby neighborhood!!



I gave chase and quickly emptied half of my 5.66mm magazine into a bold rebel who tried to waylay me

I finally got to Corp. Festus appx location from our GPS trackers, only for me to find myself in the middle of an intense gun battle near a hotel in the area!



I ran, ducked and weaved my way through the hail of deadly bullets and took cover behind an old Peugeot 506 vehicle.



It was then that I realized that we were currently duking our bullets out at a beach side, with a hall hosting a WEDDING RECEPTION placed smack in the middle of our gunfight!!



The screams and shrieks from the hall emanating from the hall inspired me to...........

So lock down affected the proposed date of our wedding so against all odds we decided to move along with the wedding.

The following precautions were taken.
1. Social distancing during the ceremonies ( TM & White)
2. Less than 50 people in attendance.
3. Sanitizer n nose mask were in place.
4. Temperature of Guest were checked before entering the church ( White wedding)
5. No reception to avoid crowd.
