How come every time Wike will be mentioning Security Council when we are battling a virus that has to do with medical. Does that mean his deputy who is from the medical line and the the commissioner of health can’t advise the governor? What does Security Council have to do with medical war?
The Security Council advises him on issues of security, health, safety and social wellbeing of the state.

Na so. That is the inherent dangers in this new found love for Executive Orders. They only breed tyranny, often made without the deep thought that comes from debates and proper legislation. So, Mr Wike expect a legal whirlwind when your immunity expires. Just a pity that the opposition in Rivers is decadent. If not your position will have become untenable.

Probably the only leader in the whole world that destroyed a citizen's building in the effort of fighting COVID-19.

I tell you! I haven’t heard of a country were a business was demolished for non compliance. We truly may be living in a zoo/jungle, where anything goes. No law and order left, no blind justice maiden weighing the scales of iniquity with fairness, just so called “Strong Men”.

Yet, some folks are still justifying the madness; Sowore was right after all.

All these thugs as leaders we have in Nigeria sha? Where are the true intellectuals? Where have they gone? The citizens themselves don’t even know how to choose good leaders, always going for the worst it seems.

The state Council ordered the hit on Prodest Hostel and also decided it best to have the manager of the hotel in detention under the guise of testing positive for Coronavirus. Politicians tell lies like their lives depend on it, no doubt.

The selective amnesia these folks display when they need it boggles the mind, soul and spirit.

You have said it all, there lives and career really depend on lies

I Hope Those Defending Him Will Have Something Reasonable To Say Base On His Action To Demolish The Hotel, Don't Be Deceived, Gov.Wike Is At Fault And I Won't Stop Saying It And He Knew That, He Acted On The Ground Of Selfish Interest And Personal Sentiment. For God Seek He Is A Leader. I Pray He Pays For What He Did Very Soon

Journalism is dead with social media. That headline should have read: "Governor Wike Denies Taking Unilateral Decision To Demolish Hotels"

And not:

"Governor Wike Denies Taking Decision To Demolish Hotels Alone"

Better a lawless state than a state ruled by PDP.
We should try not to personalize or politicize governance.
It should be rather a lawless state than one ruled by the likes of Wike,Bello of Kogi or Buhari of Nigeria.

Wicked thugnor wike.

Listen to the idiot, passing the buck.
Hey, thugnor Wike, the buck stops with you. You are the head of the government in Rivers state, either good or bad you take the credit. I'm pretty sure no one will demolish 2 hotels without the consent of the Thugnor.

...passing the buck.

Yes, it was the State Security Council's decision and the Council equally mandated the governor to supervise the demolition.

God is watching you Wike, always remember that someone somewhere will one day ask you to give account to Him and to Him alone.

You know, I actually reread that to see if I missed something.

But no, the question is actually for you.

The headline clearly matches the contents. Wike says he does not take decisions alone and explains that there is a state Security Council.

Where is the misinformation?
