And a report was published recently that earth's magnetic field is showing anomalies , possible indications that earth's magnetic is going to swing . It happens every 250000 years.

Problem is if that happens all electronics which relies on magnetism / electro magnetism , especially satellites will go kaput ie all navigation systems and anything that depends on navigation .

Wonder how birds r going to adapt to that , since they rely on earth's magnetic field to travel long distances. Since it has happened periodically before and birds r still traveling around I won't be concerned much.

There is nothing wrong being a conspiracy theorist as long as it is based on plausible facts, sustainable reasoning and proofs atleast with circumstantial evidence.

Many analysts in intelligence agencies r superficially conspiracy theorists. Their job is to put alternate theories which doesn't fall into the realm of general norm. There job is to go against the herd mentality .

No 18 Squadron "Flying Bullets" resurrected with LCA fighters.

Coincidentally No 18 squadron has the honour of being the squadron whose pilot, only one till date in IAF, who was awarded Param Vir Chakra the highest gallantry award that too posthumously. He engaged 6 enemy aircrafts , shot down 3 while defending Srinagar airport all on his own during 1971 war . He unfortunately was shot down during the very same air battle and died. He was flying a Gnat against enemy Sabres.

That was the original intent when the AFSQRs was first drafted , but over the years it has been turned into a advanced multi role fighter aircraft in the lightweight category.

LCA possess capabilities which even Su30mki aircrafts don't have , forget mig29 or mirage2k or jaguar etc in terms of technologies.

RSS ( relaxed static stability ) design and 4 axis quad redundant digital full authority automatic fly by wire flight control system ( DAFCS ) . If pilot exceeds safe limits , aircraft will automatically take over from pilot and bring it under control.

It is one of the few fighter aircrafts in the world to have advanced flight modes like those found in Rafale etc.

Hot refueling , hot swapping , hmds , obogs ( under testing ) , USMS , EMCS , EEMS , DFMS , DHMS , AWMS , TACAN , TERPROM , VOR-ILS , EGPWS , SDR(MANET) , bolt on/off IFR etc

It has the highest percentage of composites in a fighter aircraft , upto 45% of the airframe by weight and 95% by surface area

As far as I am concerned , most important development has been the setting up of the aerospace R & D facilities and industrial complex both govt and private.
