Hello Nairaland Community,

Its been about 4 years since I have encountered this magical genre of music (Igbo Highlife) and I want to take on a project to translate all these songs to English on my website. I have played these songs over the years but do not understand what they are saying. I thought it was something that wouldn't even take me a week but after giving it to some Igbo friends I have still not been able to piece it all together because they said its different Igbo so I am bring the project here for community help. I want to translate every single word that comes out of the artiste's mouth.


if you know of any resource that has done this already, please direct me there, or if you have any suggestions on how to go about this project, please pm me.
