20 years ago you don't know about Lekki. Plots of land were sold at Lekki phase 1 in the late 80s by the then military governors of the state

I'm really sorry for those who will be residing on man made islands because water will surely reclaim it's space back one way or the other

Can good thing ever come out of this APC government? Both the governor and the commissioner in this state need a serious brain reset. Ask me why

1. Lagos have been facing serious erosion problem every raining season. The readily Man made island created have not be fully protected and they want to create more problem.

2. Epe, Ikorodu, Badagry are really craving for development. Vacant land everywhere, no development. Yet no vision to develop these areas.

3. No good road to link both Urban and rural areas together to aid smooth natural development. Yet you want to keep congesting the urban center.

4. No good plan to make the rural areas attractive, no visible projects channel to these areas, existing structures are not working, so many projects abandoned and there is no plan work on them. No plan to bring in sustainable development programs to these areas.

5. No plan to end corrupt practices in order to block leakages, no reasonable ministry created so as to enable a sustainable development.

6. Power abuse everywhere

Infact, I can keep mentioning series of problems we have in this APC administration.

I just hope there won't be any future occurrence of the water reclaiming the land. Just as someone said, badagry is still under developed, there are virgin lands laying fallow that can be used solve land scarcity issues. All it just needs is good road network, rail lines and that solves the problem. All this island island stuff......SMH

Why not build a bridge to connect snake island and Tarkwabay. We still have alot of untaped empty land there instead of destabilising the ocean flows with man made Island.

It makes more sense to earmark some places or areas for high rise buildings only than to disturb the natural movement of the ocean,.... if we have up to 150 high rise buildings of at least 22 stories as rented apartments it will do more good and more cost efficient than filling the oceans

Bridge is what is needed. Naturally existing land for centuries not the man made filling land that will be disastrous to the marine habitat .

Yours is a great idea. I have been wondering why Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo States cannot see the benefit of creating a new town around the Shagamu interchange. This will de-congest Lagos State, fast-track Ogun's industrialization, and create a bigger market for Oyo's agricultural products, thereby increasing further that state's agricultural production. Your fast rail will link the capital cities of the three states. It will also be good for regional integration.

No but they can sure put great facilities and good road networks in place to hasten development. The only good road from egbeda to badagry is the express that cuts across all. All the inners road are completely dilapidated or there exits none. In fact, local government that are primarily responsible for them don't exist anymore
