Am living with my uncle since I was in jss1 and now am currently doing my nysc and since then i haven't brought any girl to my uncle house.. so my gf told me she want to visit me ... So I envited her to our house yesterday.. we stayed on the corridor and we gisted and I didn't take her inside and she greeted my uncle well and I told my uncle she is my friend... So this morning my uncle called me and warn me not to bring any girl into his house again..... I just kept quiet and I was surprised

so I don't no.... was kinda annoyed

How can you stay with someone for good 8+ years and you don't know what they're like?

From just the way he talks, what, and how he criticize things you'd know the man's stance on such.

Abi you're the type that stays in the room when Uncle is in the parlour?

I have nephews and a niece too, the oldest of them is a 16yrs lad. We talk business, women, life planning, goals, etc.

I even tease him about his GFs in school, that alone tell you that if a girl comes to see him, she'll likely get a “visitor’s” drink.

The problem will be when they're too many.
Even without being told, he knows his boundaries.

If you stay with someone that constantly talks about the benefits of cooking at home, what do you expect when you bring fast food home?

If you're bringing any girl to your uncle's house, then it's the girl you want to get married to and you're ready to formally introduce her to him. But you must inform him before hand. It's simple courtesy.

annoyed because your uncle doesnt want you to bring women to his home (to later hear stories that...)?
annoyed because there are rules that you dont want to follow?
annoyed because you are not mature/independent enough to get your own place?
annoyed because you dont understand what your uncle is trying to teach you?
annoyed because you dont have money to respect your uncle's abode and go to hotel for your BS?
annoyed because you want to do what you please but your uncle has other plans for you?

if you think you are "man" enough to have girlfriends and mess around with them (in an adult manner) then be "man" enough to get your own place...
