Almajiri are now being taken care of by their various state governors!

Their future might be even better than yours...

Until we stop seeing this eyesore, you need to stop talking.

There are so many millions of poor people that are from the north trooping to Lagos daily.

I see hatred, jealousy and sentiment in your subjective write up...

Any way you people are free to believe in anything that will make you guys feel better and happy
And this is why your people will never grow, you simply are in denial. You said I'm jealous, Jealous of what please? Those extreme weathers? Sun that is hot like fire? Abi harmattan that gives electric shock? Staying in the North is both a mental and physical torture. Or is it your lazy women that I'm jealous of? Women that does nothing for a living but reduced to sexual objects by men, or is it your males without a single sexual control when they sight women? Your males are simply dogs, and no other part of Nigeria do I see such kind of human being that shakes just because they are standing in front of women. Or is it child marriage that I would be jealous of? Abi your females that are body bleachers?, 95% of creams in your market are body bleaching creams or is it the way your female children are trained to be harlots right from childhood where the only thing they are best at is painting their faces, it is only in the North that you will see a child with full unproffessional make UP walking the street every day, or is it the way your girls think to be beautiful is to be light in complexion..
The most annoying thing is that those your jobless wives are worst in children's training, your average children lack all sorts of manners.

Anyway, I am proud of where I come from, our mothers would not even allow us to touch their powders, and we dare not paint our lips as a child and paint our faces like that, nor will they Pierce our noses, ears as a baby, the right to do that should be given when the child is an adult (18years old). Those useless cultures are what contributed to your underdevelopment, but you are too blind to see them

We were taught to be hardworking, study hard, and all sorts of good manners. For your information, I come from the state with the highest number of educated people in the whole of Nigeria, and I have never seen a child with make up before while growing up until I stayed in the North. Our women & mothers are hardworking, hustlers and financially support the home, not waiting for government to give us free food, and do fine baras.

See dear, one of the reasons I thank God is the fact that i wasn't born and not from that part of the world where your people are still living in the 1950s and some other people are living in 2030.

I'm not saying this because I hate your tribe, but because its the truth and you people should start seeing your problems from that angle as well. That's only when you would be able to solve it.
Those school feeding programs, free this, free that is just like tackling problem from the tip, the psych of your people is the reason why they are poor and underdeveloped

I would have joined the argument but don't have that energy. The North is blessed with Human and Natural resources. Politicians and a lot of self centered people are the problem.
Yes, there is a lot of poverty and mostly in the Rural areas were there is much neglect.

But also, there is money in the North with lots of opportunities, we just lack visionaries with Strong will.

Lol. I agree with you. That is If you are not talking from the angle of tribalism or jealousy out of seeing them with luxuries.
I didn't watch the video, but I can easily guess what's in it.
Some Northerners are nothing but a waste of brain, I stayed in the same compound with a prince. And they use all kind of cars that are quite rare to see
, and in the estate, the kind of house built are gigantic and mansions that would inhabit more than 150people. Even, their underage children (12years, 13 etc) are already driving in the street with various types of car. Ask me what is their father's jib, and it would be nothing but a politician. An ordinary councillor would be extremely rich with big big vehicles, princes, wives, princesses spend bails at the malls, and these people are doing nothing for a living.
Now when you enter some part of the Town, people are beyond poor, they are wretched. Some people do not have a house, but they live in... (I don't even know how to describe it,let me just say a 4 angle iron sheets). This is in a town of intense heat, a sun beyond comprehension of people that have never lived in desert areas.
A town filled with Almajiris with torn cloths and looking very dirty with sands, you will see little children, girls in the morning during harmattan living in an uncompleted building et cet ra.

A town of the living wretched, ive also stayed in kebbi, Jega, and the poverty level is extremely high. I had a neighbour whose children hasn't started school at age 12 and above and this man is a teacher, someone who was supposed to be a role model.

Yet they had the gut to post gigantic cars and luxuries. Celebrating these kind of idiots is showing how stupid some Nigerians and Africans are, to celebrate people that have gotten their wealth by making others suffer. I do not mingle with rich Northerners, because they disgust me.

........
This is not for discrimination, but a wake up call for the Northerners. I also criticize other tribes, but truth be told, Northerners own is worst
as regards self development compared to South Western People. illiteracy and backward thinking is quite high there.

i support you 100%, i am schooling in Sokoto and i can tell you this people are extremely poor infact the gap between their rich and poor is not something you can measure, you'll see 16 years old girl driving car while another child of almost 2 years is already an almajir carrying plates up and down, already on his own begging to survive and i imagine why?? their rich kids have poor friends still not going to help cause of their mentality... Some of them just pose with their parent's car with nothing upstair. Forget all this pictures they post on social media their way of life is not what a tribe should be proud of.

Northerners are in denial and self deception. Sokoto and Kebbi isn't rural to the North, and people there are wretched. Not taking children to school is not blessing, and the majority money in the North is a stolen Money by politicians.
I don't know the good thing about that desert dryness, no fresh air, no breeze, heat that can kill..
Yes, politicians are problems, but your people also contribute to the problem. You need to change your peoples orientation, Government alone cannot help you. I hate your jobless wives the most, you need to change that culture if you want to grow, tribalism, plenty wives, many children when your women are jobless, piercing noses for your female children, allowing children to paint faces. All those cultures are bad and the cause of your underdevelopment.

A child that has the focus of fashion of painting faces would not focus in school, and not focusing means she might not take her people out of poverty. A female child is not a sex object, change their orientation, women should learn a trade, your women are only intrested in plaiting hair. Your women are only intrested in marrying a rich man, that is their only way out of poverty, discourage divorce and remarrying abandoning children with their father, go to another husband to give birth to many children... I can't type again, but you should know that your Northern lifestyle contribute highest to why your people are wretched

Yes, the poor does not even want to be rich.
If they want to be rich, an ordinary gateman won't have two wives and 10children living in a gateman house. If you see a Northerner, you will easily identify a rich girl from a poor girl, their rich ladies would be very beautiful and poor ones extremely ugly. In this place, it's difficult to distinguish rich from poor if they all wear clothes and in parties, but in the North, no one needs to tell you who is poor and who is rich, because it would be very obvious

The gap between the rich and poor is extremely wide.

asin oti poju!! it's only in the North i see villages inside the school... Almajiris in Usman Danfodio are more than we University students, they steal and do all sort of things to us, still the school still recognize them over us, i was eating in one of our school canteen one day, i finished eating this rubbish watery semo, then i put the soup bowl ontop the semo plate just to balance and eat the meat, before a blink of an eye one of these almajiris boys (yaro boys) carried the plate with meat and soup from my front as i shouted "Kei" then he dropped it by that time i already lost interest in eating the meat, just took one of the meat then called him to come and salvage the rest, if you start explaining how backward their society is, mehn i can write a novel. I just pray ASUU doesn't hold me much in this Sokoto...and they're hypocrite, big one!!

and you mean these yarinya girls, those girls are just something else, the only thing they know how to do is fry soya beans (awara) and do painting on their faces (very annoying and irritating make up ), there was one day i was just looking at an 8 years old girl with the make up she wore on her face which was very weird and irritating, she noticed and started looking at me somehow and i was just like what's wrong with this small girl in my mind, was looking at how awkward the makeup was and still imaging why all these small girl are putting on make ups and who're they trying to impress? like older guys or their almajiri boys (yarinya)

Yes my brother, they will paint face for children, why won't they be wooed? Paint hands, legs, pierce nose, three holes in the ear for a small child. How will the child concentrate in school? How will the child have time for book? Isn't that inviting men for the child? Useless culture
95% of creams in their market are bleaching creams because in their head, and make up full market, fake make ups for that matter. When you go to Kebbi state, their own worse for painting.
Children going to parties is very common there,in the evenings, you will see them coming from one party and another, children o,no be adult, and you will see full makeup in their faces.

How many women are tailors in Sokoto? The only thing they do is plait hair in their house, if you see a hairstylist shop in sokoto, is for someone from other tribe.
In the morning, poor people would line up to collect money from rich people

Come to Ko sei, you will see gatemen with 3wives living in a gateman house.
In our side, you will see people learning one trade or the other, especially girls, nothing like that for them. Why won't they continue to be poor and rich people getting richer

There's no difference between Sokoto and Kebbi, what annoys me the most is all these provision stores and shops, tailoring shops and others are filled with men, what their wives should be doing. If you see the way they are strict on we student when it comes to anything socials, if a guy holds a girl's hand they start looking at you like you're have committed the most disgraceful fornication in the world, school securities would even take you to security post, but when there people are doing rubbish within the school compound they're free. Self Denial and Deception is Subjective.
Majority of money in the North is not from politicians stealing... Which politician! How much do they have, how much can they spend? Most of these politicians are Financed/sponsored by Big Northern business men..
Iv never been to Sokoto / Kebbi so I don't know what it's like but my friends say it's nothing to write home about. Tribalism is everywhere and like I said Politicians are the main problem and have always been the problem. The orientation of the people remains the same because politicians know how to manipulate them.. That's why change never happens. Emir Sanusi was trying to raise this awareness, But politicians had their way.
The North is the Best of Both Worlds. There is extreme wealth and extreme poverty at the same time.

I have been to Niger and kaduna states both in the north I saw the youths there. undecided and I'll tell tell you they re poor !!!!!!!!!

Come down south we have boys driving cammry, Honda benz and lexus that can not be said of thiere nothern counterparts... yes call it yahoo or whatever it doesn't matter to me.

There re also youths that drive cars worth hundreds of millions from the south.....

But arewa should stop trying to paint the narratives and instead bridge the gap between the rich and the poor in their states. Till I start seeing the middle class type of cars in their millions I wont take them serious.

My father did not steal from the Nigerian treasury neither was he rich. But

I bought my first car in 2012 pencil light Camry.
My second was in 2013 votron
My third ride was in 2017 lexus rx350
That's the car I'm still using. Call it yahoo fine,.,. But you need education to at least boot and use the laptop. Something the average northern youth cant do to help himself.

Those almajiris will soon stone you wicked nothern aristocrats
Really Niger and Kaduna? I did my service in Edo state and i was not impressed. The youth there are not swimming in wealth also.If you are to talk about poverty,Niger and Kaduna are not good example cause the conditions in does two state are better than most southern states.Niger and Kaduna are not the poorest state in Niger, and have a G.D.P higher than most of your state. And the op sound as if he is hurting.

This thread reek of pretentious jealousy and shear hypocrisy! Why not remove the spec in your eyes before plugging the log of wood in your neighbour's eyes?

When E money and the likes that has questionable money flaunt their wealth you cheer them up, but when Arewa boys flaunt their you start wailing up and down.

I'm not from the core north but I've traveled the length and breadth of this country and I've seen beggars and riches in everywhere.

What you cannot dispute is that the richest men in Nigeria are from the North and the poorest are from there too.
What everyone should be mindful of is his/her personal success.
