I use to experience this stuff.. The last one was even last week

But there is one that was so fearful... I could remember that I saw my self being dragged by my leg on rough ground.. And I could clearly remember the voice telling me.. "Shaybi u like sin, I will teach you lesson" .. I couldn't move in bed.. The more I try to move the more it was hard for me to move, at last a thought came to me, why not call on Jesus and ask for help.. I did exactly and I saw a white shining image stretching his hands to words me, I forcefully stretched my hand out and the moment I touched him, I woke up from my sleep with serious headache and bruises on my body, the pain was so much that I had to take panodol the following day.. I had to call my mom and inform her... This happened as far back as 2014..... All thanks to God almighty for keeping me alive till date...hallelujah somebody

This one isn't sleep paralysis.

Nothing special about sleep paralysis though.
I have experienced this many times.
Sometimes, deep in my sleep, I see myself falling into a very deep ditch. The feeling is usually very strong that it wakes me up but I wouldn't be able to move an inch from my bed. It is usually accompanied with an increased heart beat but I have learnt to regulate my heartbeat to close normal even in extremely frightening situations.
Many times, I feel myself raising my hands up for someone to grab hold of and pull me out of the paralysis.
All I can say is that it is a very nice and refreshing feeling.
Re: Share Your Sleep Paralysis Experience Here. by Charmingrascal(m): 10:28pm On May 31, 2020
Sleep paralysis happens when you stress yourself too much in the day time, when you think too much and have a lot on your mind and/or when you have something bothering you.

Above all it is usually caused when spirit or ghost manifest close to where you perhaps some distance away or when paranormal activity happens around you.

In Nigeria it happens when witches are hanging out or helding there meeting or when a possessed bird fly pass yours house.

I've not had one in a long time and I weirdly miss having it occasionally even though it scared the living crap out of me. I went from having it almost everyday, to the point of being scared to fall asleep... To having it occasionally, before it finally stopped. I was about 13 or 15 and it went on for several months.

Before it started I'd been having dreams where I'd wake up gasping cos someone was choking me in my dream. The first time it happened, i remember waking up and being able to open my eyes and look around. I remember how strange i found it when i realised i couldn't move. I couldn't tell if i was dreaming or awake. But then i could hear my mom talking outside and i saw a sibling walk into the room. That was when the fear began to mount! I felt i was dead and that was what being in the grave was. I was screaming for help but my mom couldn't hear me and it seemed to go on for an eternity but then... snap! Just like that, i was free.

Then it kept coming. I never told anyone cos i feared they wouldn't get it. I would go to sleep, wake up but not wake up. I would feel like i was going insane then I'd wake up. Then... repeat!

Over time i figured out that the biggest problem was my fear so i decided to count numbers and focus on that. So, once i woke up and i was stuck, i would start counting the seconds and i would usually get up to 60 secs. Longest was close to 2 mins. I found that it helped a lot though the fear still crept in once I was closing in on 60 seconds; I'd start thinking about what would happen if i didn't wake up and i was stuck like that forever.

I was actually proud of myself for having mastered it. I was able to feel my fingers almost moving so I'd wait for the system to boot up further then i would try it again till i felt that sweet sweet release.

There's a demon responsible for this sleep paralysis, but I've forgotten it name. It's real and it's not good. But science won't let us understand it proper. The demons use it as a means to carry out their evil plans on humans especially those who are weak in spirit.

the day I experience it, I felt like someone was pressing me down on bed and I'm unable to move my body even I couldn't open my mouth to speak, so I manage to shout Jesus my voice wasn't loud enough, by the time I try to shout Jesus the third time I felt relieved and i could move my body and speak and then I prayed after the whole thing.

It's been long I had that. Back then, I use to have multiple paralysis. I will experience the stuff. Then struggle to get up, when I finally get and try to sleep again, I will slip into the paralysis again. It can happen five times at a go before I will get to sleep normal. I had to start seeking information about how to get over that stuff. In one of my Google Search, I discovered that it occurs most when you face up while sleeping. So when I experience it, I will manage to get up, then I face down and sleep off. After a while I stopped experiencing it.

With those multiple episodes you are always at your weakest moments , so sad so depressed and desperately wanting a peaceful sleep.
I found out that the best remedy at such moments is to gather courage and determination to get up and perform some vigorous exercises. A rapid workout that can induce sweating and quicken your circulation always helps me to go back to sleep without further paralyzing episodes that night.
A long prayer before sleep or listening to some verses of the Quran or reciting them always helps.

I have had sleep paralysis plenty times. Here is what i discovered, lack of sleep is one the factors that contribute to my having sleep paralysis.
The first time I had sleep paralysis, I was being chased by an enemy and then I had to jump from a high rise building. In the process of landing, I found myself conscious but struggling to move my body.
The second time,I was taken to hell and I was full of regrets for not making it to heaven and then I regained my consciousness.
You got bro, only had mine when I sleep extremely late... Like 4am or so.

Its pure spiritual oppression . While i was still experiencing it i decided to test if it is a being beside it or just normal biological experience. One day when i wanted to sleep i put an object on my neck and covered it with cloth. Later i fell into a semi conscious state and felt somebody using leg to check out what was on my neck.
Now this is super scary! I would have frozen to death!

It can be a very awkward experience. I myself experience this sometimes. If you dont want it again, clear your mind before you go to bed. Also, never ever watch horror films at night because it actually attracts negative spirits to you. They feed on your fear.

In Nigeria pastors have made money out of this... By ignorant souls who don't ask questions... They will tell you that it is one aunty from your family that sees your star and trying to shot you down...

IceColdVeins:
Medicalnewstoday.com defined sleep paralysis as a feeling of being unable to move, either at the onset of sleep or upon awakening. The individual's senses and awareness are intact, but they may feel as if there is pressure on them, or as if they are choking. It may be accompanied by hallucinations and intense fear.

In Icecoldvein's opinion, sleep paralysis has a plethora of arguments surrounding it. Researchers uphold various scientific hypothesis that represent sleep paralysis as a biological phenomenal, some even insisted that it only happens when your brain wakes up a few seconds before the peripheral nervous complex (the neurons in your body parts), which in turn triggers slow responses to the brain's information by body parts. On the other hand, Spiritualists maintained the notion that sleep paralysis is designed by demons and can only be remedied spiritually.

I used to have sleep paralysis a lot until it stopped, when I embraced some spiritual antidotes.

Below is still the scariest sleep paralysis experience that I ever had......

I heard my ex's voice yell a threat at me, I was scared and tried to get up, realised I was six fts below ground level with a shiny grave moulded untop of me. And suddenly, the skies changed from it's astonishing high resolution filters to the dreadful black and white effect, as it coughed a heavy thunder down my grave....My mummied body immediately knew it was in for it......I tried fleeing from the horrifying dream, never knew a worse comeuppance awaited me. I was thrown into a solid 40 seconds of sleep paralysis.... before I opened my eyes, hissed and mumbled 'Una papa. I don wake up'

Dear NL,
What are your experiences and beliefs about sleep paralysis ? Your inputs may put some people experiencing it at ease.

Kindly share!!

The astral body is likely detaching from the physical body into the astral plane..
On the other hand, you are returning with force to your physical body.
