You think solidarity demonstration with African Americans is silly because we have worse abuse here, right? Have you guys ever appreciated and voted in activists in Nigeria? You laugh and argue about their motives as long as you have your pacifiers, iPhones. Until this new generation, demonstration was an embodiment of our social culture. It was when youths gave up expecting their fathers and grand mothers to demonstrate for them while they seek VISAS anywhere that demonstration became old fashioned. Deride African Americans now but seek visas to their country when you know they are suffering because of your evil selfishness, wasted potential Regional Power, lazy children of hate that cannot develop themselves or their land but look up to others and foreigners to do it for them. If you have Power at home instead of Greed, YOU and African Americans will not be subjected to so much oppressions abroad. Ndi Ara and Ingrates pursuing visas. |

Aflix:Let the Northerners protest.. Sorry but it seems they are okay with the oppression going on... Look at Borno, with all the massacre they are experiencing and curfew, they trooped out to vote massively for this inept govt twice! Herdsmen killed some people at Ibadan, the community quickly mobilised and arrests have been made instantly. What you tolerate becomes a monster... They are enjoying the sharia they supported. So Islamic terrorists are having a swell time ruling them the way they see fit..looting, raping, maiming those perceived as their enemies.... Americans even Britain have protested on our behalf too against kidnapping of girls like Leah sharibu etc and against killings of Christians by book haram, so nothing wrong to reciprocate the gesture |

Where were they when China was maltreating Nigerians and other Africans in China? Or Black Live does not matter if the victims are Nigerians or Africans. |

ajl:I do not think you are so narrow minded. If you search, you would have discovered many communities and most educational institutions in America especially African American Studies Dept. questioning Chinese Government. The question should have been what did you and your castrated Government do. Other African countries were heard loud and clear. South Africa immediately debated it and sent plane. Do you expect dead Gani Fawehimi and old Wole Soyinka to demonstrate for you? How old was Ojukwu, Gowon, Gani Adams etc? Lazy youths looking for who to blame or mention one great achievement of the youths to lift their country up except to seek refuge and craw into another Mothers' wombs |

dangotesmummy:I can’t help you on this forum. Hopefully when you grow older you’ll understand. Some African Americans were from where we call Nigeria today before they were kidnapped and unlawfully sold into slavery. So yes there’s nothing wrong with protesting for a sibling. Their issues are our issues. We owe them solidarity. Cheers. |
