Dem no protest against the rape, Fulani herdsmen, banditry, kidnapping, insecurity. The mishap in Faraway America is what they are protesting against.

Which one are they protesting for
Is it the killing of blacks in the thousands by blacks in Naija or the killing of barely 24 blacks by white police in US
I smell hypocrisy.

As African most populous black nation, we've right to air our views on behalf of all blacks. Therefore, I see nothing wrong about this protest.

We shouldn’t be naive because Black life matters, don’t forget you have brothers/sisters/ family overseas, it’s matter because this racism is not only there in the States but all westerns world including Asia and others countries and blacks are everywhere, high time all Africans should stand against it now.

While I respect their rights to protest, they should understand that no place do black lives matter most than in their dominant environment - Sub-Saharan Africa - but these people who consume more American content than anything else will not understand.

Something that should be trending in Nigeria is #Christiansmatters

Buhari is hiring only Muslims. Planting hausa muslims at the helms of affairs in Nigeria. Other tribes matter too.
We are getting tired of having clueless muslims direct affairs in the country. It is getting too much.

ExAngel007:

Nigerians braved the rain to protest the
murder of George Floyd and to call for an end
to racial injustice.

The protest was organised by the Black Lives
Matter Movement in Nigeria (BLMMN). The
convener, Josephine Okpara, stormed the
streets of Victoria Island, Lagos, with other
protesters.

They carried placards with words such as
"Black Lives Matter" and "Justice For George
Floyd" written on them as they condemned
the killing of African Americans in the United
States of America.

The protest comes after George Floyd died on
May 25, 2020, after Minneapolis officer Derek
Chauvin knelt on his neck for nearly 9
minutes during an arrest.

Speaking on behalf of the group, convener,
Josephine Okpara said the US must put an
end to “white supremacy and build local
power to intervene in violence inflicted on
black communities by the state and
vigilantes”.

Nigerians across various social media
platforms were not impressed by the protest.
They mentioned that we have more pressing
issues in the country to protest and they
criticized the protesters.

See below.

See these bunch of hypocrites trying to make themselves relevant. Charity begins at home; Nigeria Police kill many Nigerians monthly, there is no electricity till now, no jobs, poor people are dying of hunger, innocent girls are being rapped, hospitals are not equipped, policemen are collecting bribes daily, Buhari is detaining people unjustly, arresting many opposition members, our electoral seats are sold to the highest bidders, no good roads, an ex governor has been empowered to sack an elected governor and the power to appoint another. Many are being killed in Kaduna, Katsina, Borno. The death rate in Nigeria has increased because of lack of security. Pregnant women are being killed by banditries. ASUU and other pressure groups go on strike only for salary increments while our universities are a complete mess for lack of adequate funding, teeming graduates are unemployed. ....does black lives really matter? If it does , protest against your government.Charity begins at home. Black men must know how to value their lives in their own countries, before seeking for such rights in foreign countries. The whites said, Nigeria is not fit for animals , a shithole country. It is an insult to animals to address Nigeria as animals farm. Imagine every Nigerian irrespective of your tribe and political affiliation, all gather to demand for electricity, and giving government deadline to meet it up. If we protest daily for electricity, and roads , we will get that desired life. Some of you have gone abroad to see the good life there, protest against your government to demand for such life. Don't only unite when there's a political parties meetings.
