On the trending topic of rape, me and my friends couldn't agree on a generally acceptable definition of rape because of the divergence opinions and circumstances that can be observed on the event.

It's so obvious that the recent case of Uniben student is a violent attack and the perpetrator could be stranger and a criminal to the lady, that is wrong and we condemn it totally.

But when you are not a stranger and you are in the best position to do it together and of course you expect your partner to consent to the act, maybe a girlfriend or wife or friends with benefits. How do we explain rape is such scenario? because some men are saying girls are framing up lies to accuse them wrongly or the ladies are trying to get back at their exes on a past relationships that went wrong.

Someone also try to explain rape as "it doesn't have to be forceful or violent attack, Just a mere 'NO' from the lady Even if she's naked, spreads her legs and looks at you with sultry eyes in your room, if you approach her and she says NO only once or twice, and even without her struggling or protesting, she didn't cry nor scream, if you go ahead, it's a rape".

I wish to get a perfect definition of rape if that is not acceptable.

Rape is defined as the act of having sex with someone that didn't give you the wholehearted permission to do so notwithstanding the relationship_spouse, friend, neighbour or acquaintance.

Rape can be said to be an act of entering somebody's restaurant, serve yourself and eat with force, clean mouth, and sometimes even beat the owner of the restaurant before leaving.
