"From the concrete who knew that a flower will blossom"

Many people come from distressing places, so when you hear their life stories it's easy to say 'you shouldn't have made it out.' This is a major reason people keep stressing that 'where you from shouldn't determine where you're going.' Everyday people change circumstances that worked against them, & come out victorious, then seem like they haven't been through hardships at all.

What more can I say, verily I say unto you

Nigeria is blessed, Nigerians are great. But please we need writers who can write great Biographies of our Legends. Kanu Nwankwo, Jay Jay Okocha, Francis Obikwelu, Rashid Yekini, Mary Onyali, Chioma Ajunwa. I love writing, I love reading and I know some great writers we have can do great works on these projects.
Again, if you're a Nigerian and a black man and you haven't read 'Things Fall Apart", I wonder what value you live for and how much of African pride you know of

Oluwa will save his children from tribalism. Looking at the photo, it looked like the young black guy scammed the whiteys. He looked like a criminal. Apologies to Igbos.

Well deserved for the young man.
It's a pity that we Nigerians are still stuck with proving our Tribal superiority, it's a shame to every tribe. Then we call out other people racist, the height of hypocrisy itself. A man who knows he's great doesn't need to announce it it's others that would attest to that fact , results speak. As pitiable as it sound, we are not really ready for a turnaround in this Nation, our problem isn't our leaders but our mindset as a people.
