Everybody thinks it is easy to preside over Nigeria where everybody is a specialist in criticizing government.

In a country where 80 percent of the people are already corrupt and disorderly from the womb.

Nigerians had choices, but majority preferred to choose form over substance. A man who could not grant any interview or debates for Nigerians to explain what he want to achieve and most importantly, how to achieve it, but delegated such good opportunity to subordinates. What do we have today, president of delegation of duties.
To rule Nigeria is easy, just follow the constitution, with strong conviction, assemble the best brains, be open to criticisms and head the government.
The country may be corrupt but bad leadership breed corruption. Nepotism and cronyism add oxygen to corruption. Corruption always start from the top, the populace only follow their steps.
How many high level officials have been punished for corruption as an example to others.
Majority of Nigerian will not ordinarily break the law if punishment system is adequate.

Wole Soyinka isn’t some thirty something year old who did not witness the first General Buhari misrule of 1983-85. He knew Buhari for what he is. Yet, he campaigned for him. Today, he attacks him. That is not honourable. Accept responsibility for your project!

He should accept responsibility for bringing the worst ruler in Nigeria’s history to power. He should thereafter apologise, and honourably bow out and live out the rest of his years preserving his legacy.
