I saw this bird on the field yesterday after my football training, they were fighting on the air and suddenly this one dropped down and was very weak to fly. I have removed the feather sha.
some people said it's an owl but I dont think it is.

Please come and tell me what the bird eats oo

If u need a bird that can’t fly get a chicken or parrot. U don’t need to pluck it’s feathers. Release this wild bird as soon as possible pls.

The bird was weak after a royal rumble with a colleague for food, water, sex and/or space, you could not pity it, you still went on to make it deficient in plumages. God is watching you.

The best you could to to the bird is to let it go and congregate with its relatives. The bird isn’t a pet and can never be a pet. It has never been made a prisoner by any other biological specimen like you.

It will just die if you continue to hinder its freedom of association with its families
@least op didnt roast n eat d poor bird...

Is this not 'animal cruelty'? I ask because it is so had to take care of humans now, so how can a hunter take care of a pet. The animals and plants at our instititutional zoological places are all caricatures of their real selves. Please, advertise for buyers and if you can't find no worthwhile buyers you should better eat the meat or set it free, simple.

It's a juvenile it's obviously captivated by the shiny object. Birds have been known to take particular interest in mirrors, lenses etc the way they perceive the reflection of light bouncing of shiny objects is different to ours, it's entrancing especially to juvenile birds .

Lol.

Re: Finally Got A Wild Bird As Pet (Photos) by tonididdy(m): 10:40pm On Jun 05, 2020
it's either a hawk or a falcon but birds that fly are the hardest to keep as pet.
they need professional handle.
they are not entirely domestic.
either way you have a very pretty pet... I love Kiki already but like I said they never live long with us.

That's a falcon

Held a baby falcon, made the mistake of putting my finger on its claws. It almost didn't end well for my finger as it had a nasty grip. Panicked that day cos I thought I inoculated myself with God knows what.

OP don't mind all those calling you cruel and stuff. They are just forming what they are not.
A bird was in distress, it was bruised both physically and emotionally by another bird. Maybe it has been banished from their kingdom for loosing the fight or it might not go back due to shame. But you came like and angel and saved it. You plucked its feathers because you realized it needed rest and shouldn't fly just yet. The bird is grateful to you. See the eyes it is giving you. Its obviously enjoying your company.
Take good care of the bird, then look for suitable buyers who will take better care of it. Nobody wants to be in the wild. Well done op
