keep applying and pray for a miracle. Very unlikely they would consider you. For farm workers Nigeria is not on the list. Your best bet for caregiver is for a relative in canada to hire you. Phillipinos and Indians have colobi most of the jobs. There are many people with legal status without jobs too so it will be hard to consider others.
Do you know if Nigerians who are already in Canada are eligible for the farm workers? Also, do you know how to get into the program?

Nice. Thinking of moving to Weston by next winter. Closer to my work place at North York (Steeles Ave).

Used to work at Steeles too, I was coming from Etobicoke Lakeshore everyday. It was hell, esp during winter!! Had to relocate to Sheppard Ave west sharply. Weston is quite cool, public transport is very regular.

Do some Public university offer scholarship for masters student in Canada??

Most Canadian public universities offer funding for their research masters. However, this is offered through your supervisor. So, you have to scout and contact professors that are in the research areas that interest you. If they accept you and have funding for that research area, they would offer you funding(pays you salary and pays your tuition). You can still go on to apply for other scholarships and grants when you get the admission.

I agree. It's central and provides easy accessibility to other parts of Toronto.

Forgive my ignorance, but is Weston not a crime hotbed?

So I heard. Been here 2 years and I've neither witnessed a crime nor felt unsafe.

It's been a while I have been here. I just thought to share some photos of my NW neighborhood of Calgary. The quarantine period allowed for quiet walks and reflections on how far I had come and where I actually am aiming to get to. I have been in Canada now for a year and a half and will attempt to answer any questions mostly regarding the cost of living, daily life, and job prospects especially in CALGARY. One thing I can say though is that it's been one hell of a ride.

1. Loblaws - Canadian Supermarket Chain
2. NW Street at Night around 10 pm and loved the light.
3. Lake Louise, Banff National Park. I did a road trip and took this shot of one of the most visited places in Alberta.
4. I don't know why I took this, to be honest. Pedestrian push-to-walk button.

Oh and if Instagram is your thing you check out @mycanadawaka . That way you can follow some other people and network and ask relevant questions.

The push to walk photo is my favorite. Didn't know we had a Loblaws market in Calgary. So I've just been unnecessarily missing out on a lot of pricematching opportunities.

Okay first of all I'll love to run Masters in Social work in Canada.. That has been ma dream buh the sufficient funds is what is not available.

2. Canada is a country that has shot changed skilled jobs like social work in need, since the funds are not available for now, do u think I should apply and come through Express Entry? or apply for jobs like care assistant or social work job and get my letter of appointment and start processing my Visa??

How much would be needed in account to come in through Express entry or Work route??

After the terribly high number of deaths, the Quebec government is looking to hire and train (Paid training for that matter) up 1000 care givers for it's Old people's home (also known here as CHSLD). It has a good pay but the only problem is that it's currently locked only for citizens. There is currently a push to remove the restrictions. Pay close attention and see if you can try your luck!

What questions do you have about Ottawa?

Etrangere:
Landing Gist.
Family of 5.
Happy new year all. I didn’t want my landing gist to have part 1 & 2; hence I waited for it to be almost complete.

Hi, please I'd like to send you an email. Would hopefully be landing in Ottawa next month and I don't know anyone there. Would appreciate some advice. My account is new cause my other handle was banned.
