In america the word daddy used by women has a sexual intonation in it.it means a woman who is sexually submissve to a man and is ready to be at the man"s whims and call.In nigeria i have noticed women refering to their pastors as daddy supreme or my daddy or gracious daddy o.so whats the intention in a woman and sometimes a married woman refering to a young man who is not old enough to father her as her daddy just because he holds a pastorial position.Is there a sexual intonation in it? is it that such women have the desire to be sexually submissive to their pastors? please lets discuss this issue

Hypocrites is what I call women that call pastors those names regardless of their age. You disrespect your husband at home yet you dare adore another man all because he bears the title of a pastor. Women need to upgrade their way of thinking abeg

there might be a sexual draw to it i have noticed some women who cook for their pastors.there are married women who disrespect their husbands and tag him a foolish man and make claims they can never cook for a man but these same women will quickly wear bum shots and Tshirt and enter kitchen and start cooking for their pastors.

I was in a Church in Ago Lagos, the GO is just a young man, say 25 years or less. I was shocked to see how mamas were calling him Big daddy. They call other young pastors Daddy.
It's shameful! Women need to have little respect for themselves.

In Nigeria any person old enough to birth you is daddy/mummy.

Any person who has a child as old as you is daddy/mummy.

Your Guardian is mummy/daddy.

Any person in a position of influence/power/wealth is daddy.

Your spiritual guardian is daddy/mummy. Even in old times people had father in the lord e.g Elijah/Elisha.

sometimes questions i used to ask myself is why cant the pastor hire a cook to cook for him
why must it be a married woman in his church doing the chorus at his home while abandoning her husband .anyway any husband wey just siddon dey look while his wife is gallavanting at pastor"s house is a big fool.pastors are not supermen and they can easily get seduced as well

in Nigeria, it's like a sign or respect, same way pupils in primary refer to teachers as "aunty" or "uncle" or like some of us who call people old enough to be our parents dad or mum!

If I marry the day my wife goes to any pastor house for prayer or call any pastor Daddy is the day she leaves

In the southwest where I’m from most women call their husband daddy, daddy wa even when the husband is not old enough to be her dad.

Are you saying any woman who respects her pastor won’t respect her husband? Is respect for husband and pastor mutually exclusive? Or are most men just insecure? If you don’t want your wife to go to church just tell her not to and if she refuses divorce her. What’s the fuse about?
