Thank you

The Camon 15 premier has 3 cameras right? right

Out of these Camera's only one takes shot (The main camera) the others help take better ultra wide and Distant shot

This single camera is actually 16mp (less than the 25mp the p35 supports)

Tecno then binned this camera to 64mp

I made it as clear as I can

except ur point is dat d other cameras are fake, ur arguement cant hold water. Only d bokeh gets support from the main cam. D wide angle takes pictures on its own same as d supposed macro, ah dnt undastand ur theory of dem relying on d main cam

Meaning the rest of the cameras are a fluke

64 MP, f/1.9, 26mm (wide), 1/1.72", 0.8µm, PDAF
5 MP, f/2.2, 14mm (ultrawide)
2 MP, f/2.8, (depth)

These are the camera's

The 64mp will make use of the 5mp sensor to take a wide shot in Ultrawide mode, the focal length of the 64mp (f/1.9) cannot take a better wide shot unless the better focal length of the 5mp (f/2.2) with his sensor gives the 64mp how to take the shot

and if you don't believe this I hope you also don't believe

Redmi Note 7

48 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/2.0", 0.8µm, PDAF
5 MP, f/2.2, (depth)
or
12 MP, f/2.2, (wide), 1/2.9", 1.25µm, PDAF

Think about it
How will you use a 2mp sensor to take a picture?

the 64mp is the one taking the pictures, while the others sensors merely assist
Shit man...dis ur theory is very absurd...u cant increase the angle of a main cam jst by adding a supposed wide angle cam. D wide angle cam shoots images on its own..and who told u der ain't 2mp images? It wuld jst be dull...so much for paying close to 100k

I said they don't take pictures but help the main camera take pictures

What a wow, as someone said "technology", seems Tecno(Transsion) is onto something that no other OEM around the has managed to conceive... Yeesh

They "help" take pictures, are they cameras or NOT?!

You don't get it
The 2mp doesn't take pictures, the main camera uses it's focal length to take more distant pictures

We're you around a decade ago, it's not an insult, I'm really curious, because phones used to have 2MP cameras as their ONLY cameras...

I think you may need to Google " the science of pixelation in respect to cameras"...
Cameras aren't all about their pixels, that's just a portion of what makes a photo what it is...
A tad different number of people have tried in their own way to explain this to you, but we seem to be speaking xhosa to you...
If you think YOU are right, then these number of people have an even greater chance of being right...
Why not step off that horse for a minute, open Google and get more knowledge...

Very organized thread
But Transsion did lie about the infinix hot 8 having 3 camera but I used the device and I personally tell you only 1 work's

I don't know many hot 8 users to confirm this

First let's get some things straight. Is there a particular way u used to determine if it's just 1 camera that works? If it's just by using ur hand to block one of the cameras to check if there's a change then u might be wrong. Infinix hot 8 has 3 cameras according to the specs sheet. A 13mp main camera, a PDAF, and a 2mp depth sensor. Those other 2 sensors won't make any noticeable difference if u use ur hand to block the lens, their job is minor. Eg when u try to take a picture with bokeh effect, blocking the depth sensor might look like it has no effect but after taking the picture u will notice no bokeh will be applied. Same thing with the PDAF sensor which is just a phase detection autofocus.

I use a galaxy a70 with 3 cameras. One main camera, one ultra wide and one depth sensor. It looks like only the middle camera (main camera) works as I can block the other 2 no effect. But when I switch to ultra wide angle mode the blocking the bottom camera will block the field of view which shows it's working. But no matter what mode u put the camera, blocking the top lens makes no difference. That doesn't me it doesn't work, it's a depth sensor that works while taking bokeh photos.

Didn't grasp the sarcasm in that post uh...?

Let's take the Huawei Y9s for an example, the OEM definitely played up the 48MP camera, no mention of binning was said(and it wouldn't be, no manufacturer will want to, if possible downplay a product), it was users who upon using the camera, and it is quite evident in the settings that the default snap mode of the MAIN camera was set to take 16MP cameras which was them upped to 48MP(size mostly), through their picture processors... That's Huawei binning... Nobody sued anybody or died about it...

Now there are other cameras on that pho e which function perfectly and independently of that, such as the ultrawide and macro cameras, which the PROCESSOR SUPPORTS, they aren't there to help any other camera but function as what they are there for...

If any camera needs help why not just make 1 camera that can do those different things, why waste money making 3 or 4 which will be useless or just assisting a binned camera?

I told you guys that he's only interested in being right.

P35 only supports a dual (2) camera module.

That means the ISP can only carry the signal of two sensors and combine to create a composite image. The other two sensors are useless because there's no room on the ISP for them. It is clearly written on the website.

My Attitude is a result of you and the other Xiaomi faithfuls attitude

I have explained my points in detail and my points are against the false information you believe but you have chosen not to drop it

Redmi Note 7 also has 3 lenses at the back and if you cannot explain how it is possible for Camon 15 premier at least explain how it works in the Note 7 and then we can use the same logic to explain both

Single means 'one', in this case one at a freaking time...

Oh I don't use Xiaomi o, I'm more interested in gaining or refuting for knowledge's sake, rather than sticking my neck out for companies that could care less about me than for my ability to purchase one of their products...

But then again the Redmi Note 7 cannot have 3 separate Independent single camera's according to Qualcomm Snapdragon
