A bounce rate is basically what happen to your website when user suddenly exit from it.

Using this analogy, when you go to a shopping mall, suddenly the mall becomes difficult to access , have much technical issues, find it difficult to make purchase, or can hardly fine what you are looking for etc.

This experience happens when users visit your website, they may experience difficulties to access information on the site, takes too much time to load a web page or may encounter so many technical issues; such as difficulties to make payments, etc..

All these factors could result to high bounce rate, 60 - 90% bounce rate is a threat to your business/website.

How to Reduce Bounce Rate

1️⃣ Improve your content, so clients/users can find all information about your business/website.

2️⃣ Optimize/resize image files on your website. This techniques will increase the site loading speed.

3️⃣ Minimize CSS, Javascript files on your website. There are so many techniques available to achieve that. Advise your web developer to minify CSS and Javascript files on your website.

4️⃣ Ensure your website is accessible on various network (Edge, 2G, 3G, 4G or 5G).

5️⃣ Ensure your website is responsive on mobile. Most clients use smartphone to access the web. Increase the Accessibility of your website to reach your widest audience.

But I hope you know that some programming languages are different and hard. Take COBOL (if you like shine teeth it is still being used by online stores and big business companies) for example it has about 600 reserved words (keywords) it is block structured and has different features. Nesting of procedures is one of them. Even common python has a kind of loose programming that will annoy a C style programmer.
