Apart from the fact that a Yoruba man singlehandedly nominated Jonathan to be Vice President, the entire Yoruba nation fought for him to be made acting president in 2010 even when Igbos led by the PDP national chairman wanted the cabals of dead Yar’Adua to continue ruling illegally.

We voted massively for him again in 2011 based on the agreement that he would rule for a single term having ruled for some of Yar’Aduas term.

In 2015, he went against the agreement and we voted to preserve the agreement and the sanctity of the rotational agreement between the south and north. In addition, his tenure was riddled with corruption and incompetence.

How you people lie shamelessly and effortlessly baffles even the devil as he is learning work.

Was it not the bold and courageous DORA AKUNYELU , then minister of information under Yaradua that busted the bubble and exposed the evil plan in ASO Rock?

Something your corwardicee son Osibanjo can never do even as a pastor and a professor of Law?

Now you claim yorubas.

The south is not united.
Thanks to AFONJAKASSES!
They would rather see a Northerner in power FOREVER, to protect their selfish, tribalism and extremely bigoted socio-economic interests.

2023 with APC vs PDP?

North vs North. . . . North wins.
North vs South. . . . . North wins.
North vs East. . . . North wins.
North vs West. . . . North wins.

The South remains the SLAVES of the North FOREVER!

Na you, your papa, your mama, your dog, your siblings, your village people, your ancestors and your entire generation be slaves to the North.

If Sagay and yorubas are sincere and really want southern presidency, let them campaign vigorously for both parties to zone their tickets to the South east. If it is impossible to do so, then they have no right to complain about power staying in the north.

The greed of yoruba and their desperation to ensure the political emasculation of East will keep power in the North.

There is no two ways about it, yorubas have taken their slot as president and should wait for others to take their turn.

Zoning means "turn by turn" , if the yorubas have sworn to be greedy then it is justifiable to keep it in the North.

There will be no Nigeria in 2023. The North will rule over themselves under Arewa Republic.

The north deserves to take another shot at the presidency for another 8 years. This is because Buharii has misrepresented us by not leaving a good legacy. We want to elect another northerner to clear the name of the north.

Again, the south west fought against Buharii so much with their strong media. Deji Adeyanju, fayose, FFK, and Afenifere has remained in the lead of those who criticise buharri . We cannot alow tinubu or osibanjo who has bitter mind against Buharii to take over because of retaliation.

l like your line of thought but don't you think it will amount to being ungrateful if the north abandon Tinubu after helping Buharii to power.

Do you think the north will swinge to any of their own in 2023 if Tinubu force the ticket to himself.

If the yorubas were with the ones with the level of political power that the North has, do you think they will share with anybody?
yorubas are a greedy bunch and believe in a winner-takes-all political mentality, derived aetiologically from their pre-colonial feudo-monarchical system of socio-politics, that's why they expected all appointment that buhari was to give southerners to come to them.

Some yorubas have even secretly sworn that they will monopolize all appointments when they grab power and remove other nigerians from powerful positions. They did it in NNPC when Fusho Kupolukun was GMD NNPC, monopolizing every appointments therein. I grew with yorubas but I'm sorry I don't think I'm comfortable having them pilot the affairs of this country.

The internet and social media have exposed their mind and evil intentions for others. It's a good thing they have never succeeded in voting a yoruba man into presidency since the beginning of Nigeria and that situation will continue in 2023, if they don't wean themselves off their political greed.

The rest of the south will protest against SW presidency with their votes in 2023. Greed will not be reinforced. It is not yoruba's turn in the south.

There is nothing wrong with his suggestion to keep power in the north, it is hypocrisy for a yoruba to claim the north is greedy while also trying to greedily usurp power in a zoning arrangement where they've taken their shot and others have not.

Let the most populated greedy one win if that's the case then, and that should be the north. grin

Tinubu is a Political Businessman. If not he would not have listened to OBJ to use Ribadu as presidential candidate of ACN in 2011 so as to favour GEJ.

If he and is God-father OBJ, and others from SouthWest want to kill APC, they know what to do.
The North of yesterday is not the Nort of today.

The only people seriously clamoring for power to remain in the north are south easterners for envious reasons. Their thinking is if they can’t get it, let’s ensure no one from the south gets it.

Atiku is only flowing along with the wave that these people from the south are pushing. No serious person is giving the idea a thought other than those who intends to create chaos and confusion. Good enough, they are not strong enough to cause any serious political disruption. Reasonable and well meaning Nigerians who are not motivated by envy and hate shall always prevail.

Same with those who out of envy and insecurity campaigned for power to return to the North in 2015 when a Niger deltan was in power

The presidency must remain in the North. Nothing you or your paymasters can do about it. This is what will happen in 2023.

1. PDP will pick a Northern presidential candidate (most likely, Atiku).

2. APC will be left with 2 choices, pick a Northern candidate too or pick a candidate from the SW.

If APC picks a candidate from the SW, it will be SW vs North. The PDP Northerner Presidential candidate will win the North, SE and SS. The APC SW presidential candidate will take the SW. PDP/North wins.

If APC picks a Northern presidential candidate, they have very high chances of retaining the presidency.

But just know that the PDP will largely determine matters. If the pick a presidential candidate from the NORTH, the APC will have to also pick a presidential candidate from the NORTH, or lose to PDP, because no southern candidate can match a Northern candidate.

Seems to be the most likely thing that's going to happen.

But what if at the unlikely chance APC picks a SW candidate and PDP a SE candidate.

A failed state such as Nigeria where nepotism, tribalism, greed, hatred and superiority complex has eaten deep into our mental and emotional intelligence cant and will never walk along the path of power rotation based on geopolitical zone. I only blame the Brits who opined we could coexist progressively. Nonetheless the north don't deserve nor merit another slot at the presidency in the next election.

Correct. Inasmuch as I don't want the north to ever rule again, they must continue to rule if that saboteur tinubu thinks he can outsmart his ancestors

Do you want to know the truth?

yorubas actually have deceived themselves for so long that since the north and east do not get along on socio-political and religious issues, the east will vote prefer a yoruba come what may. So they believe they can always play "double agent" and get away with it.

yorubas propagated "Igbo will never president" propaganda since 1970s. They also propagated "a vote for Ibo is a vote for Biafra" in their newspapers in that era. Today they pretend that "hate speech" started with Nnamdi Kanu who became popular just a couple of years ago. grin grin

They will be shocked beyond "shockability" in 2023. Two can play the game. grin

People who don't have voter's cards let alone political parties' members cards will be analysizing political issues like political juggernauts!

Political parties and NOT tribes contest elections and account for 70% of the success needed to win.

This is the reason why Gov Obaseki's disqualification from the APC's primaries is generating uproar. This is the same reason why Obaseki is thinking of joining the PDP instead of say APGA, AD or Labour party.

This is the reason how Dr Ahmed Lawan from the Bade Tribe of just about 700,000 people can become the num-3 citizen in Nigeria.

A candidate from Bachama Tribe of less than a Million People can contest on the platform of a major party and win.

If Tribe is all that's needed, then some tribes have no hope of becoming President, Vice President, Senate President, Chief Judge or anything in the next 100 years.

When conversing with me, make sure you have facts coz I don’t like people wasting my time.

—Azikwe allied with Balewa in 1959 parliamentary elections.
—Ekwueme allied with Shagari in 1979 election
—Ekwueme allied with Shagari in 1983 election
—Ojuku campaigned openly for Shagari in 1983 elections
—Sylvester Ugoh allied with Tofa in 1993 election.

In 1999, the Igbos voted against a Yoruba preferred candidate Falae and voted for Obasanjo who the northerners wanted. That showed Igbos are eternal Fulani allies that only wail when they are checkmated.

Even in 2011, the Yorubas voted overwhelmingly for Jonathan who was in PDP even with the fact that the Yorubas are majorly ACN then.

—-The igbos will vote for another Fulani in 2023 as usual, it will not be a surprise!

Happy Sunday, nairalanders.
presently I prefer reading comments, and digesting the foolishness or wisdom of the commentators, because I have said everything that need to be said, before the 2019 election.
but I 've realized that nigerians are too docile to the point that only brutish and highly incompetent govt, such as is presently obtainable under bubu's apc govt can wake nigerians up from their famous docility, because of the shared sufferings and anarchy, presently obtainable across the nation.
for me i even prefer if bubu can strive to change the Constitution, to enable him to context the 2023 election, so as to continue in office to continue his good work of waking up nigerians, through shared sufferings, across the nation.
presently nigeria has become a wailing hub, without exception, as everyone has turned into wailing wailers, may be with this unity nigerians will learn how to vote in credible candidates, devoid any clanish and religious affiliations.
