I advice he tries UNILAG
He said his o level is not that strong,so i think he should avoid Unilag to avoid stories that touch.
Unilag's admission process is:
Jamb--50%
O level---20%
Post utne---30%
If O level is not strong,it is a big risk.

Well if you did further math in secondary school I would have advised you just brush things up.

I had to do same last year.

Because I left secondary almost a decade ago, I had to be searching for material to refresh my memory.

Luckily my cousin in ND1 Auchi poly was around so I borrowed his math text.

Imagine polynomials nor con dey my head again lol.

But I was quick to grasp things as I have done them before.

And funnily enough I saw polynomials among my 5 questions and it was a smooth ride.

As for the departmental cutoff it's true uniben don't release theirs but we tend to know what cutoff they will be using each year.

Once you meet the merit cutoff you are in.

But if you don't and fall under catchment cutoff.

You might get catchment but it's not 100% certain as I think most people jostle for the remaining spaces using whatever legal and illegal means available.

Wow..Great, thanks..I have heard that too, observed it as well(UI lifts questions from Lamlad)..Btw,I heard the quota for MBBS in UI is about 150+

UI admitted 168 medical aspirants LAST YEAR. You tried in your UTME. I'm also in your condition now as I got 298 yet i'm believing GOD that he's the one that gives admission. In 2019,a guy with 292 and 88 in PUTME was admitted. It depends on how you prepare yourself for the PUTME. I will like to chat with you on facebook. Add me up IDOWU PHILIP OLAMIDE

Moreover,i found out from some bosses that entered last year that 70% of the questions were from JAMB and UI PAST QUESTION. I have been sent the latter. I went through it and discovered that most of their questions are simple but technical. If you can get 87+ in the PUTME,you will surely be admitted. Those scores that you have seen do not mean anything. I repeat they don't mean anything. Many 300+ were wasted last year due to their complacency, they perform woefully in the PUTME. Imagine, someone with 292 having the same aggregate with someone with 324. The former had 88 while the latter had 80. Prepare wella for the POST-UTME and UI will bow.

UI quota for UTME is 145. For D. E, About 15. 1-4 people via crossing.

In total, about 160-167 in a 200level class.

Although, NUC gave UI up to 180 space. However, UI is a very organize school, she prefer to teach 10 good doctors in a serene atmosphere than 200 doctors in a market atmosphere. Lolz

One thing I can promise you, UI has surprises, and it's always in two ways. You guyz prepare for both, because, either one will hurt anyone with a jamb score between (200-310)

Ui can bring ridiculous simple questions, so that anyone who hasn't read in 6 months will score 70%.

UI can bring ridiculous hard questions, that anyone who read into the exam hall, will have about 15 questions untouched due to hard calculations in physics and chemistry.

So, you see, in cases like this, everybody is equally affected positively or negatively, wish means Utme score is now the saving grace.

This thing I say happened in 2014 and 2015 putme respectively.

So, don't only rely on the fact that you can score 87%,the questions are can be super easy.

Best bet, aim for 100%, lolz.

There are even 1-2 control questions, meaning, only those who guess, get them right.

The question cannot be found in textbook, and you can even prove them wrong.

Who/What Killed Goliath

A. Stone
B. God
C. David
D. Sword .

You see this kind of question in biology, and guyz will argue the answer until putme result is released. Lolz.
