in politics, fear is very paramount, Oshomole and Obaseki do not fear Gambari enough to listen to any deal he might bring up...

at times like this (for other parties in Edo) , the best thing for the other contenders in Edo is to dey their dey, both APC and any party that Obaseki goes to, may both lose either in the elections of in court because everyone has everyone's dirty linen, this is the time for the small parties to wait for miracle to locate them.

because both Obaseki and Oshomole are on suicide run now, they both know that they may go down and go down hard, and both will invest all their arsenals to go out with some very loud bang.

Oshomole will lose the most though, he has stepped on way too many toes, Tinubu will stand off and wait to lift the hands of anyone that comes out alive... Obaseki has seen what that happened to Ambidextrous, if he is going down, he will do everything to drag as many people down with him as possible...

As for obaseki, his best option is to port to PDP immediately while funding court cases left right and center for infighting in APC. That will ensure sufficient confusion in the Edo APC creating a serene atmosphere for him to get a second term.

A return to APC will be too dicey. Oshiomole is an old fox, and can still cause havoc even as an ousted chairman.
