Hey,am just gonna translate the names in a simple form.And yes,they are all common names.

Chukwu/chiwetalundu=God brought life or gave life.

Chukwu/chiwetaluego=God brought Wealth/riches.

Ositadibanma=If it starts getting better today or It started getting better today. Chukwueloka means God thought well while Chukwuemeka means God has done it.

It depends on how it sounds (You know Yoruba is a tonal language)
egungun sounding re mi mi means masquerade

egungun sounding re re re means bone

But if it is the "egungun" commonly used on Nairaland I can assure you it is masquerade:
"Egungun be care na express you dey go" (masquerade be careful...)

Eshe Sir, but see one of the so many sentences I saw on naira land:

".......my Egungun is telling me I am the wife of the house. but the gateman and the cook refused to tell me anything despite the kind I am to them."

since that time I want to know who is EGUNGUN.

I checked my Yoruba learning Book distributed when I was a corper in Ekiti but couldn't locate anything of this nature.

The meaning of "Egungun" as used in the above context maybe a little hard for me to digest. Unless I have knowledge of the proceeding sentences or messages I may not be able to tell the actual egungun being referred to (bone or masquerade)

But the closest is masquerade". This is the fact that masquerades are considered to be gods; the spirit of dead oones (ara orun kinkin) with certain spiritual power.
So it would not have been "my bone is telling me..."

I hope I try small.
