The chicken was spoilt already...after the pics, I gave to a hungry dog .
The shaking was tasting somehow...I've been warming everyday for 4 days
The rice was just an error. Na local rice with few stones. I didn't allow it cook well before mixing my veggies, I was scared it will turn tuwo.

I need to learn how to cook this.

Quite simple dear.

1) Get catfish (at the market or from your fishpond..lol) and cut into your desired size.
2)Wash the fish properly. Catfish skin is very slimy so you may consider washing with salt to remove adherent dirts (some wash with alum just like snail but it's wrong, that slimy substance has antibiotic effect, you can read about it).
2) Get pepper soup condiment e.g. uziza seed, uda, ehuru (sorry, I don't know what they're called in English but at the market, just tell them you need pepper soup condiment and they know how to do the mixture)
3) Dice your pepper and scent leaf.
5) Put the fish + condiments, salt, pepper in the pot and heat for some minutes (doing this allows the fish to absorb as much taste as possible)
6) Add water enough to cook (fish generally are more tender than meat, so you got to avoid adding so much water).
7) Add your scent leaf and leave the mixture to boil for about 15- 20 minutes.

That's all involved. Your catfish pepper soup is ready to be savored kiss

The cold is something else, ndo. Ofada stew is that locally made stew eaten with the local ofada rice that you know. People sell it and it's mostly sold in Uma leaves. It's common among the Yorubas, na them get am. I usually take mine with normal rice after all, rice na rice angry
