Is it good to ignore someone making pass at you?
Sometimes one of the things causing us troubles as young people is that we ignore too much.. most especially young girls.. some Boys just want to be friends with you and you ignore them.. you don’t even care to know if he is just admiring you.. you just ignore him and you forget that the toes you step on today might be attached to the ass you will kiss tomorrow.. that’s not how life is.. Just a smile back might mean a lot to people.. some of these boys need you in their life not always as a lover but also as a friend.. he might be going through a lot and you might be the one to calm him down.. some of them are going through a lot.. some of them always wake up with tears and suicidal thoughts (am an example) and no hope of what is to come.. sometime I just say to myself; THEY DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS TO WAKE UP FVCKED UP FEELING TRAPPED AND CAN’T GET OUT FROM WHAT YOU ARE BORN INTO... when people show them love to you.. always show you love them back and let them know how important they are.. it might save a life..

Insult is welcomed

It is not every time insult should be welcomed or served. That's a matter of maturity. You see, as I got older, I realized that if you can hold your emotions in check you can actually perform better.

About the points you raised, these are points one should handle with deep understanding. We have all had days when we were found wanting and a kind word can make a difference. Psychology saids one needs lotta touches from people, people you bump into, smile to, greet and salute to make you feel at your best

I was in school back then. I was depressed and sad. Future was bleak. A certain lady I used to know, came up to me and she gave me this hugh bear hug. There was nothing sexual about it. She held on to me. It felt like eternity but when she was done, the future and my outlook was suddenly positive.

Our society needs healing. So much people are hurting and can only give what they have in terms of insult and anger issues.

I'll give my response in relation to each paragraph.

1) If he's just admiring, can't he do it from afar?

2) Life doesn't actually work like that. The toes you step on today are still the same ones you'll step on tomorrow.

3) The boys going through a lot actually rely on their male counterparts more than on ladies; even those in relationships hardly confine in their gf, not to mention a random admirer.

4) As long as they won't misinterpret the platonic love to mean 'forming' and end up trying some illicit nonsense, sure, why not?
