Good day my Nairalander family. I hope you all are fine. Sorry to bother you all. There's something giving me sleepless nights lately.

Firstly, I vowed never to have anything to do with women after the setbacks I had in the past.
Somehow, I fell in the arms of a woman again. This time around a good woman.
She loves me more than I love her. She has being my backbone lately.
She really helped me a lot. She was always there for me when I was arrested. She is the first woman ever to spend money on me since I started dating.
She value everything I give her no matter how little it is. I bought her a wristwatch on her birthday and the wristwatch is less expensive compare to the wristwatch she use. But I was surprised she abandoned her expensive wristwatch and started wearing the one I bought for her.
This girl has done more than enough for me. When the pandemic was severe, I stayed in her apartment all through and she took care of feeding and all.
We plan getting married. But here is my concern.

Her family!
Her family hates blacks and they have no reason to like a black person.
I only visited her family twice and the way they welcomed me wasn't really good.
I once talked with her younger sister and asked her if she would marry a black man. She said never. That even if the black man is richer than Bill Gates she will not marry.
Her sister hardly reply my chats on Line App.
This my girl loves me but my problem is her family.

Friends I am very confused.
Note: The current work I am doing now I got it via this my girl. She is everything a man needs. She bought me a car last year.

Hmmmm

Looks like you have met the ''one"

Think about this..... would you be comfortable being married and never being in good terms with your in-laws?

When you answer that question.....then you should know your next step.

Are you marrying the family or you are marrying the girl? If you were in Africa, it would have been a different story. Please don’t walk away, dive in.

..unless you aren’t telling us the whole story or you don’t love the girl.

You don't have to walk away from the relationship.
Life has gotten past the stage where we all have to care about what people thinks in our relationship.

For the fact that the both of you love each other very much and she understands you and you understand her is enough.

That bullshiit i hear people saying about how relationships won't work if the family of your spouse don't like you, does not work at all.

That's all nonsense ideology by people that can't make decisions on their own.

You owe her family no apology for loving their daughter.

This is even a motivation to love her the more, don't ever leave her.

You should be thinking of getting her pregnant, putting a ring on her finger.

You should be planning on what names you will give to your first child. Lol

If i ever love a lady to wife her.

To hell with anybody that says otherwise, be it my family or her family.

Act like a man, take challenge and charge of your relationship.

Let her see in you her Champion, let her idolize you and adores you.

BY the order of the Peaky blinders.

Forgive my gbeborun, but why were you arrested?

I seriously doubt this story. Even racists can't be so brazingly racist.

Do you know how to pray? Prayer solves a lot of issues more complicated than this.

YOU WANT TO WALK AWAY BECAUSE CERTAIN PEOPLE DON'T LIKE YOU? MAKES NO SENSE.
IF TWO OF YOU CAN WORK THEN THEY HAVE NO OPTION THAN TO LIKE YOU IN FUTURE EVEN IF IT MEANS TO PRETEND TO.

I have affection for her but not as she has for me. She is the type that hangs out a lot with family members. Go for dinner together. And I feel somehow when I am not in the picture.

Thanks brother. Last year she went with her family to Japan for vacation I wanted joining them but I didn't just like the fact that I won't enjoy my stay there because of her mum and sister.

Oh! Almost all the time. Sometimes she try to make her family see that not all black people are bad. She has tried her best. She doesn't have a problem. She want us to get married. But my concern is her family.

You don't understand it. You're been looked down on by your girl's family. When she's on a video call and she's with her younger sister I will tell her I want to say hello to her sister the sister won't want to talk.
At first I do thought that the reason is because she's not fluent in English

Thanks. My fear is the future. Anything can happen. She spend most of her free time with family and they might just spoil her mind towards me in future. I don't want to have kids from a broken home.
How would her family welcome my kids? My kids would someday want to go spend time with their grandmom. Would they be welcomed?

If it's to pray, then pray
If it's to convince them, then please try your best.

I don't really like the idea of marrying a person without their family's support. But if nothing is working, follow your heart.

It's not even about me. For me, I would care less. Because they are not paying my bills. It's about my kids. How would they feel give grandmom rejects them?
I love the girl and she loves me.

If you're going to marry her, she must also be ready to give her family some space. You both can relocate to somewhere far and start a family there.

Please let her go. If it was just one family that don’t like you it could be another story. What’s er father’s opinion about it. Racist are very dangerous, especially the ones who are vocal about it even in your present. They are even orchestrate your death to protect their daughter depending on the country laws.

Go to where you feel loved

It is not just racists but also tribalists as we have in Nigeria, we also have people from the same tribe who discriminate against one another when it comes marriage because of some beliefs.

You have to relax your mind

She is the one to fight for your space in her family

Their fears are about the negative news they hear about blacks

So you have to make a difference and let them know that you are not like the others

Keep loving her family and never give up

You have great chances because she loves you more

Above all, put it to God in prayers both of you

If she really loves you, she will convince her family

It's either they allow her do what will make her happier or jeopardise it

As for you, make sure you love her till death if she succeeds in convincing her family, if you messes her up, they will mock her and it will definitely catch up with you considering the battle she fought for your sake
