A self acclaimed Investigative Journalist posted the health update of the Ex Governor of Oya State, Abiola Ajimobi . she claimed that the former Governor is on life support and in a critical condition, she claimed Ajimobi’s lung was operated and his kidney has failed. She claimed the Corona Virus complicated his underlying health issues.
The 70-year-old Ex Governor slipped into coma on Thursday for the second time as a result of COVID-19 complications, The news sparked rumours of his death, sending panic among his supporters, for the past few weeks, has been in Intensive Care Unit.

My question remains 'why will the APC NWC appoint someone battling for his life with the 001 position in the party? Aren't there other alternatives to Ajimobi that are qualified and from the same zone?

Appoint someone else and take the media attention away from the man and his family during this difficult period they're going through.
