Raw pap work.
Next time you see him poop more than 3 times within the hour, give him raw omidun (the water from pap fermentation) maybe just 2 tablespoons.
Of omidun isn't available, give him half cooked pap with half raw pap mixed together.
Thanks MA for the advice
He has improved today, he has not poo since last night that I added one zinc tablet to his ORS

Get him greek/unsweetened yoghurt. It has many health benefits.
Give him other food that he likes, why just bread and water.

someone help , please. my baby is four weeks old. he passes gas a lot and I can tell this gasses are painful with the way he stretches his legs and feet and sometimes cry afterwards.
secondly, he poops after every feed. he is basically on breast milk . could it be something I am eating ? my mother in-law said it is jedi-jedi that I should get campfra and put in water for him to drink. I have been reluctant to do that.

thirdly, he seems he has stomach pains as he stretches and every time as someone who is in pains.
should I be worried and go see a doc? my main concern is the poo after every feed and the painful gas he passes frequently.

thanks

Baby can poo after every feeding, it's nothing to worry about. It's not jedijedi and Yes it's normal

The frequency or times a baby passes stool is not a problem as long as it's not watery. Normal poo looks like Egusi in color and texture

paediatricians says Some babies can pass stools up to 12 times daily which is perfectly normal

[quote author=Limahgirl post=91040840]Hello mummies. Please I'm new here, a ftm. Please how do I care for birth.

Care: Do sitz bath as often as necessary. Sitz bath explained: Look for a basin that can accommodate your yansh. Put hot water and mix till it reaches the temperature you can withstand and comfortably sit on.
Add tables salt and little dettol or savlon and sit on it.
A times when the water is not again, I do add hot water to it and sit again.
Change your pad when soaked.
For the healing, it depends on body but at 6 weeks you are expected to be completely healed down there.
And for my first even after 6 weeks, not that I feel pain but I still felt that the stitches was yet to be completely absorbed.

So sorry to hear. Try these below
1. Sitz bowl for bathing below with warm water.
2. Dermoplast pain relief spray if you have someone coming from abroad. It numbs that area
3. Peribottle for douching after you pee
4. Disposable panties
5. Baby wipes since they are softer than normal tissue and hyperallergenic

I Hope you have some relief soon mama
