protesting Buddhist monk burns himself to death (1963) to ease tension between protesting monks and the government's torture policy against priests. Thich Quang Dug never made a sound or moved while he was burning.

Great job making a point man!!!

Religious folks should like this
In 2006, Israeli authorities ordered the evacuation of illegal outposts, such as Amona. Oded Balilty, an Israeli photographer for the Associated Press, was present when the evacuation degenerated into violent and unprecedented clashes between settlers and police officers. The picture shows a brave woman rebelling against authorities. Ynet Nili is the 16-year-old Jewish settler from the above picture. According to Ynet, “a picture like this one is a mark of disgrace for the state of Israel and is nothing to be proud of. The picture looks like it represents a work of art, but that isn’t what went on there. What happened in Amona was totally different.” Nili claims the police beat her up very harshly. “You see me in the photograph, one against many, but that is only an illusion – behind the many stands one man – (Prime Minister Ehud) Olmert, but behind me stand the Lord and the people of Israel.” Ha!

Modified * She was later pushed out of the way , but somehow managed to ease the riot , she was beaten as flour about to be baked

Carol Guzy, the first woman to receive a Pulitzer Prize for spot news photography, received her most recent Pulitzer in 2000 for her touching photographs of Kosovo refugees. The above picture portrays Agim Shala, a two-year-old boy, who is passed through a fence made with barbed wire to his family. Thousands of Kosovo refugees were reunited and camped in Kukes, Albania.

Neal Ulevich won the 1977 Pulitzer Prize for a series of photographs of disorder and brutality in the streets of Bangkok, Thailand. The Thammasat University Massacre took place on October 6, 1976. It was a very violent attack on students who were demonstrating against Field Marshall Thanom Kittikachorn. Field Marshal T. Kittikachorn was a dictator who was planning to come back to Thailand. The return of the military dictator from exile provoked very violent protests. Protestors and students were beaten, mutilated, shot, hung and burnt to death.

AP reporting, shows Syrian citizens trying to identify dead bodies, after an alleged poisonous gas attack fired by regime forces, according to activists in Arbeen town, Damascus, Syria, on August 21, 2013. Syrian anti-government activists accused the regime of carrying out a toxic gas attack that killed at least 100 people, including many children as they slept, during intense artillery and rocket barrages on the eastern suburbs of Damascus, part of a fierce government offensive in the area.

We always almost see this sort of news everyday !!!

Before and after photos of a woman raped killed and burnt in yeah you guessed it INDIA!!!

Burnt body of a girl who was raped yesterday.

Government veterinary doctor Priyanka Reddy was mercilessly gang raped and brutally murdered at least by four truck workers.

According to police, the young woman was raped by the four behind two trucks on the highway a little away from the toll plaza. Later, they stuffed cloth in her mouth and took her in a DCM vehicle to a culvert near Shadnagar. On the way, the men raped her again in the moving vehicle. They then strangulated her with her dupatta before burning the body wrapped in a blanket.

How anyone could subject another human being to such terrible, unprovoked violence is beyond imagination.

rape and murder case of a woman veterinary doctor said that the victim should have called ‘100’ instead of calling her sister. “We are saddened by the incident; police is alert and controlling crime. It is unfortunate that she called her sister and not '100', had she called '100' she could have been saved,” he said.

This picture is one of a labour who walk hundred of kilometer daily to reach their home.

The video made by a person who, on his way to Delhi, noticed a man feeding on the body of the dead animal.

He stopped the vehicle and asked him 'Are bhai kya hua, khana nahi hai tere pass (do you not have food?)'. The man making the video then asks him to get up and wait by the side of the road so he could give the poor man some food.

He then offered the poor man some food that they had in the car and apparently gave the man some money too.

This is the picture of a 2 year-old boy Sujith Wilson, who fell into the borewell and stuck at the depth of 82 feet on October 2019 trichy district

The cries of this curious lad while he was consious and the way his mother, who was helpless there tried to console him by screaming “don't cry, we'll get you back dear” lol you know he is doomed .

Initially he was stuck at just 5 feet depth.Later on while the rescue operation he was slid further and reached 82 feet below the surface. All the efforts made by the rescuers were failed and rescue operation is still on. Hardrock structure of that area increased the difficulty of the task.

We really cannot tell if he made it out or not , but I pretty much doubt it
