ChelseaDr:
Have the PTF and NCDC changed their protocol and guidelines on the burial of Covid-19 dead patients, why are they releasing the corpse to the family for burial?

Why is the Lagos government in talk with the family to release the corpse for burial?

Have they lifted the ban on inter-state travel?

So many questions begging for answers.

Or is the PTF and NCDC guideline only for the poor?

May his soul rest in peace, amen.
I know not the answer to your questions except the last. Yes, the guideline is only for the poor/unconnected.

Razzness:
So Yoruba muslims even do burial arrangements, honestly i think acts like this make other muslims see them as more 'traditional than religous' people.

Even high profile Hausa Muslims aren't buried same day the die. Forget Abacha case, something was done to cover up.

And Kyari case also. He wasn't the person buried. Only the poor are buried same day they die.

May Allah overlook all his shortcomings (Amin). He married to a christian lady in which things might be manipulated by her. Normally he should be buried either the same day or the following day.

So we should forget every scenario that contradicts your delusional view?
Could your argument be any more myopic?

His wife is a Christian likely reason for the burial arrangement

I thought Muslims are supposed to be buried within 24 hrs. My Muslim brothers, please help with explanation. Are there exemptions to that rule? COVID 19 should not be used as an excuse. Abba Kyari was buried within 24 hrs.

Are Yoruba Muslims practicing a different faith from our Northern brothers?
He has a Christian wife likely reason for this.
Remember the burial was formally scheduled for Friday

This is highly unimaginable for goodness sake is it that the MUSLIM laws are working with the poor alone I can't understand? Yaradua died he was buried the following day! Goje's wife, former Governor of Nasarawa state ALIYU AKWE, Isiaka Adeleke all and many more followed same path! why so? Any way rest well daddy Ajimobi

Rubbish. You think keeping dead bodies in fridge for 6 months is what Jesus prescribed?

Muslim burials are done as soon as possible and with no ceremony and no extravagance.

Bro, even a 5-year-old could easily pinpoint that his Christian wife was most likely behind the delay in burial.

I mean what's the correlation between the COVID-19 death and delayed burial. None! It's most likely the late man never wanted this nonsensical burial arrangement while he's alive, and will even hate it more now that he's dead.

This also show others that politicians are and will never be anyone's model for practicing their religion.

I hope this serves as a lesson to others before blindly jumping into interfaith marriage.
