The problem on the ground is caused by abject poverty, lack of integrity and underdeveloped or poorly developed people of EDO NORTH or Edo State. Nobody should blame Buhari or the North. Oshiomhole is a victim of Circumstances by reason of his birth.
There is a little difference between Edo and the IBOs. Is it Buhari or the Hausas that made ward chairman to suspend the National Chairman of his Party in a State where many elected representatives of State Parliament are not inaugurated and nothing happens? That is impoverished and underdeveloped people. That is the Genesis of the problem. Tinubu or Buhari cannot help even Judiciary cannot help.

Can a ward chairman in Bornu suspend Ali Modu Sheriff when he was PDP chairman? Impossible. It cannot happen in the North or South West. The Etsako people sold their birthright and Glory, the future generation may have to pay for it.

His problem to me started when he wanted to incorporate the rugged nature of unionism into politics.. You can't compare the play in unionism to that of Nigerian politics.. I hope he learns..He should also have brought up not only obaseki in Edo state APC/politics.. He should have learned or collected the play book from his boss (Tinubu) before venturing into the grounds of Godfatherism..

Rubbish, he is one of the problems of the APC , with his overbearing and suffocating godfatherism in the south west which Oshiomhole wanted to replicate in Edo state. Good enough it has now become his Achilles heel that will nail the coffin of his glutinous presidential ambition.
Truth is this coward is just writing this long epistle to reassure Bubu and the Hausa Fulani oligarchs that he's still loyal and not up to any stupid moves that will make them use him to wipe the floor

The problem is not Tinubu winning, there is a problem on the ground. We all know PDP won Edo in 2016 but Oshiomhole used incumbency power to manipulate the election for Obazeki.Iyamu went to Court, finally, it was Oba of Benin that asked Iyamu to discontinue the case. As it is now, Iyamu that left PDP to APC is now like an orphan. I don't know how Oshiomhole can deliver with a very weak spirit now. Whatever happens at Edo will affect Ondo. Majority of the political juggernauts in Ondo belong to the same social groups. APC is not very strong in Ondo. The Ilaje Ese Odo and Ondo are now pro PDP. This crisis has dampened the peoples moral. Edo and Ondo are likely to be won by PDP

It is not Godfatherism issue, he is just a victim of circumstances. House of Assembly members elected by millions of people denied inauguration. Can President deny National Assembly members inauguration because they are not in his camp? Obaseki never won in 2016, it was Oshiomhole that rigged him in. Can a ward chairman in your village or town suspend you as the National Chairman of a ruling party? Baba Akinloye was NPN National Chairman, can a ward chairman be manipulated to suspend him. The State is underdeveloped, development concentrated in Benin only. There are Senators and members of House of Reps that their governors cannot manipulate their wards to suspend them even with $1million, they will not collect it. This is beyond Buhari or North.

Yet there is no way you become politically relevant in Nigeria without a godfather. Do not deceive yourself into thinking fantasy is reality. Politics is a dirty game and one played with alliances and loyalties. You think someone like Tinubu does not have an ace up his sleeve, he still believes APC has the strongest chance of winning the next presidency, once he stops believeing this, APC is doomed!
