If you don't know the meaning of sleight of hand I suggest you look it up.

You read whatever meaning you wanted into the post thinking I am a Christian so you came to defend thinking your Islamic faith is under attack. Think again.
*There is sleight of hand attempted when talking about the origin of the Quran.

*It is made to seem like the book was delivered fully written by an angel.

*There is nothing spetacular about the process of revelation of the Quran.

So, you wrote all what is upthere in a single comment and you say you are not criticizing. I need not to read between the line to notice your antipathy towards the Holy Quran because it's too glaring, it doesn't matter wheither you are christian or not.

I should go and look up for the meaning of sleight of hand?

If there is dissimilarity in your intended meaning and my own understanding of it; skillful manipulating of truth to won advantage or tocover up the truth, heeding to how you used it in your comment and the environment the phrase keeps, then you need to be explicit next time and refrain from using ambiguities when practising usage of words.

Even after distilling my post you still cannot fathom that my argument is against any sort of divine/supernatural origin for the Quran?

Lol! His mind is conditioned to think Qur'an has a divine origin. He is exercising confirmation bias, so he cannot understand what you wrote. Quite unfortunate.

It is, he was so quick to assume I am Christian and launched into Quran vs Bible as though that would prove anything.

BTW you need to teach me about Qira'at and Ahruf.

No problem grin

Na small thing. I'm sure in the next 50 years maximum, Muslim will be using another argument, because Qur'an 100% preservation would have become obsolete.

I remember when I was in ilé kewu (Islamic school), there is a verse that our teacher use to explain to us in which it states that only Allah knows what is in the womb of a pregnant woman, only him can cause rain to fall. The list is like five.

Today, human know almost everything about the feutus. Today, human causes rain to fall using some chemicals.

Last time I heard the pregnancy argument, the Apologist says what Allah was referring to is the destiny of the child. He concluded that no one can know the child destiny. What a stupid argument grin

I want to reflect on this your comment and ask yourself - am I sincere about this assertion or otherwise?

In as much as I'll welcome contrary opinion, I would be glad and implore you to read the statement you quote again before you misinterpreted the point. *Islam means peace*...

Shalom.
Islam means submission bro

Submission to imaginary Allah and to Muhammad

Saying Islam means peace is another scam that many are unaware of

It's Salam that means peace

It's so disheartening to see people are unlearned.

The best of mankind seeks knowledge.

Ask yourselves if your claims are based on hearsay and blasphemy, or you are well informed with fact before you start smearing Islam as well as misleading other people.

Don't be surprised that a lot of Muslims research on Christianity and other secular religions. But, can you confidently say if other religion devoters have also put such efforts to understand the Islamic doctrines.

Islam means peace. And the fascinating part of it is that there is no ambiguity of any forms in it as a religion of the Almighty - Believe in oneness of God and His messengers, pray to Him as the creator of heaven and earth; gives arms to the poor; and go to pilgrimage if you're opportune.
Read again as you suggested.

If others study Islam from unbiased source, they will be exposed to the dark side of Islam. So it's better for Muslims that non Muslim don't study Islam. The few non Muslims that study Islam (such as David wóod) are exposing Islam daily

Also, many Muslims that you claimed study other religions do not study them without bias mindset. If they are sincere in their study, they'll realise that Islam is not unique. How many Muslim study Christianity from a Christian theologian. No be from zakir naik and Co una they study Christianity? I was in your shoes

And NO I don't give a damn about Christianity. It's same búll shít just like islam

Should I go on? grin
