UBA or Zenith.
Re: Which Bank Is The Best For Savings Account In Nigeria? by Olayinka8793(m):
Actually any bank is ok for opening a savings account.
The problem is the mostly unnecessary deductions and charges imposed on customers for irrelevant things like SMS.
If you wants a strictly savings account without the problems of the annoying charges, do not accept SMS alert while filling your savings account opening form, instead opt for email alerts. Also avoid having an ATM as the monthly charges on it can also frustrate you, instead opt for mobile money payment methods or use one of several money transaction apps like Opay.
By the way, I bank with UBA.

A lot of people are used to complaining about various commercial banks in Nigeria especially the low income earners as regards the dubious charges perpetrated by these Banks.

So I want to ask, which Bank is more considerate in terms of their charges for savings account currently?

Don't forget to tell us your reasons.

Let's talk business
Stanchart for me, free transfer no monthly maintenance whatever charges downside their branches are few

Zenith is good but also Sterling cos they pay monthly interest. Some Banks deduct charges from savings account.
